从"唐人选唐诗"看王昌龄在唐代诗坛地位的变迁

“唐人选唐诗”录王昌龄诗歌作品的情况反映出唐代不同时期人们对王昌龄诗歌接受态度及其在唐代诗坛地位的升降变迁。总体而言 ,昌龄因其五言古诗对盛唐诗风的开拓之功而受到当时选家普遍重视 ,有“诗家夫子”之称 ,中唐以后选家则独重昌龄七言绝句 ,虽以“七绝圣手”誉之 ,但其诗歌地位已非显著。文章同时指出 ,作为古代诗歌批评的一种特殊形态 ,唐诗选本所蕴含的诗学价值应受到重视 ,成为唐诗学研究的一个方向     

Dependency—Bond as Construct

This article is a discussion of reality construction of dependency-bonds by oppressed groups with an oppressor. In this model of dependency-bond processes, it is suggested that oppressed people, when possible, attempt to translate the power-dependency equation from one of coercion and objectification into a less onerous, more agreeable bond; that is, subordinate people strive to establish and to reinforce dependency relationships as a strategy of control whereby the power of superiors is deflected from coercive measures against them into lines of obligation toward them. It is further proposed that the secondary effects of this process include the social construction of subordinate identity as dependent and of subordinate place as dependent place.     

Silphids in urban forests: Diversity and function

Many ecologists have examined the process of how urbanization reduces biological diversity but rarely have its ecological consequences been assessed. We studied forest-dwelling burying beetles (Coleoptera: Silphidae)—a guild of insects that requires carrion to complete their life cycles—along an urban-rural gradient of land use in Maryland. Our objective was to determine how forest fragmentation associated with urbanization affects (1) beetle community diversity and structure and (2) the ecological function provided by these insects, that is, decomposition of vertebrate carcasses. Forest fragmentation strongly reduced burying beetle diversity and abundance, and did so far more pervasively than urbanization of the surrounding landscape. The likelihood that beetles interred experimental baits was a direct, positive function of burying beetle diversity. We conclude that loss of burying beetle diversity resulting from forest fragmentation could have important ecological consequences in urban forests.

本文依据清崇德二年蒙古文档案澄清了清代史籍中有关"外藩蒙古十三旗"的说法,解决了清初在内蒙古设旗和朝贡方面的一个疑难问题.指出了<旧满洲档>在记载清初蒙古牛录和户数上的错误和蒙古文档案的价值,还附带讨论了察哈尔部和硕亲王额哲旗不在"外藩蒙古十三旗"内和"外藩二十七旗"及"外藩四十九旗"的问题.

Improving medicolegal death investigative gaps of fatal elder abuse

The purpose of this brief is to present several case vignettes that illustrate omissions in the investigation of elder deaths. These vignettes demonstrate the need for a standardized approach in the conduct of medicolegal investigations of fatal elder abuse. For each of the described oversights, a recommendation is offered to address the gap in investigation processes, which in turn could improve the determination of cause and manner of elder death. Inherent limitations of resources and practical realities of death investigation are discussed and recommendations are made for future research. Viewed broadly, deficiencies in elder death investigations can lead to the underreporting of elder abuse and the reduction of legal options for victims, which may reflect a systemic pattern of social injustice.     

Double ASN Minimax sampling plans by variables when the standard deviation is unknown

We deal with the double sampling plans by variables proposed by Bowker and Goode (Sampling Inspection by Variables, McGraw–Hill, New York, 1952) when the standard deviation is unknown. Using the procedure for the calculation of the OC given by Krumbholz and Rohr (Allg. Stat. Arch. 90:233–251, 2006), we present an optimization algorithm allowing to determine the ASN Minimax plan. This plan, among all double plans satisfying the classical two-point-condition on the OC, has the minimal ASN maximum.
