国际视野下的儿童权利——介绍国际人类学与民族学联合会儿童、青少年与童年人类学委员会

自从联合国颁布<儿童权利公约以来>,儿童不再被看作是不完整的成年人,而是一个能独立申明自身权利的羽翼丰满的人.儿童权利成为人类学讨论的焦点之一.尽管如此,儿童的参与权、知情权等权利依然受到种种政治、经济和文化障碍的束缚.国际人类学与民族学联合会的"儿童、青少年与童年人类学委员会"是一个相对较新的组织,其目的是共同提出并升华一些指导性的理念,鼓励那些把儿童本身作为主动参与者的研究.该组织希望通过组织会议和出版物传播儿童权利的理念,并推动儿童权利的贯彻.     

A Development Delivery Institution for the Tribal Communities: Experience of the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in India

This article examines the varied impacts of the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) as a development delivery institution for the tribal communities vis‐à‐vis other social groups across the Indian States, using the framework of new institutional economics. A number of State‐specific, socio‐economic institutional factors seem to be responsible for these variations. The article therefore suggests institutional reforms and convergence of the development initiatives of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs with the NREGS in order to realise the optimal potential of the scheme, and, in particular, to ensure greater livelihood opportunities for these marginalised groups and their entitlement to productive resources with greater socio‐economic and political empowerment.     

Understanding Construction Supply Chain Management

The purpose of this study was to understand some of the many perplexing questions eluding managers of overwhelmingly complex construction supply chain management (CSCM) based on review of some important research issues pertaining to construction supply chains. This study has illustrated understanding on CSCM using qualitative approach of triangulation applying foundational research methodology and soft system methodology in a coal-based thermal power plant project to validate its complex CSCM systems. The study highlights that a typical CSCM eco-system for the coal-based thermal power plant construction as unit can be considered to operate as a system with sub-systems as concept phase, procurement phase, production phase, installation phase and winding up phase. This study suffers from methodological limitations associated with qualitative research. Finally, this study provides practical insights for research opportunities in the area of interdisciplinary construction projects.
