Becoming rhizomatic parents: Deleuze, Guattari and disabled babies

In order for the sociological study of disability to enable, then it must be ready to conceptualize complex terrains of knowledge and activism. Research has to work alongside disabled people, their allies, their practices, their resistances and their theorizing. This paper makes a case for a framework of understanding that situates such work. Disability studies tends to understand its concepts (e.g. disability, exclusion, inclusion, impairment, politicization, people) as entities rooted in arborescent and hierarchical forms of knowledge. These modernist misconceptions can be challenged through understanding knowledge, practice, living and activism as rhizomatic, captured as lines of flight which are always becoming. As a new reader of Deleuze and Guattari, I make a case for disability research understanding parents and their disabled children as deconstructing or (re)deterritorializing the areas of policy, politics, practice, theory and activism. Creating burrows for shelter and eventual breakout, becoming 'angel makers', drawing on narratives of parents of disabled babies, this paper maps out a vision of parents not blocked by the strata of disabling society, but enabled by lines of flight, resistance, flux and change. This paper aims to be Deleuzoguattarian but only in ways that fit the complexities of parents' accounts.     

Effects of fixed costs in two-person sequential bargaining

Rubinstein (1982) considered the problem of dividing a given surplus between two players sequentially, and then proposed a model in which the two players alternately make and respond to each other's offers through time. He further characterized the perfect equilibrium outcomes, which depend on the players time preferences and order of moves. Using both equal and unequal bargaining cost conditions and an unlimited number of rounds, two experiments were designed to compare the perfect equilibrium model to alternative models based on norms of fairness. We report analyses of final agreements, first offers, and number of bargaining rounds, which provide limited support to the perfect equilibrium model, and then conclude by recommending a shift in focus from model testing to specification of the conditions favoring one model over another.

文化创意产业的金融抑制现状研究

近年来文化创意产业逐渐成为新时期国民经济增长的新动力,然而由于金融发展水平低下,文化创意产业出现了金融抑制现象。应用MRW模型对中国文化创意产业金融抑制现象进行实证分析,发现文化创意产业价值评估难是导致金融抑制的主要原因。应完善金融机构文化创意产业评估机制,对文化创意产品的内在价值进行合理的评估,进而减缓文化创意产业的金融抑制现象的发生。     

共产国际七大对外政策转变探因

共产国际对外政策是国际关系和世界社会主义运动领域的一个核心问题.本文以共产国际于1935年发生的重大政策改变为例,即共产国际一改对社会民主党的敌视态度,并且作出联合社会民主党等进步力量确立反法西斯统一战线的努力,来阐释此政策改变过程中起作用的重要因素及其作用途径.本文认为,1935年共产国际的政策转变是在国际格局发生重大变化、社会民主党力量迅速增长的国际背景下,以苏联国内政治斗争造成的国家实力下降以及苏共针对法西斯作出的威胁评估为基础,并受到斯大林个人性格的影响.     

一个概念与当代文学研究——《国家文学的想象和实践》简评

《国家文学的想象和实践》一书以“国家文学”的视角和概念,深入复杂的文学格局并揭示其中的权力关系。偏重个案分析．填补了一直以来相关研究中的学术空白。书中体现的“田野调查”与“口述史料”本身既是文学研究的资料发现,同时也拓展了研究视野。最值得关注的是本书给当代文学研究提供了新的思路与可能性。     

天然气产量季节预测模型的比较与选择

随着气田企业规模的扩大和竞争的加剧,需要建立一套完整的短期天然气产量预测方法及模型,以预测未来的产量发展趋势,故提出三种基于时间序列预测模型:布朗指数平滑法(Smooth)、季节系数法时间序列的预测、用于时间序列的灰色系统预测方法.但是普通时间序列预测模型的参数难以估计并且模型较难预测具有季节特征的时间序列问题,根据天然气产量的季节性、周期性特点,实验结果表明:季节系数法时间序列的预测能够对带有季节特征的历史数据进行有效预测,对进行气田企业的安全生产都具有一定的理论和实践价值.     

中国外资企业投资融资化及其法律规制

投资融资化是伴随着直接投资的增加而逐渐产生和发展的.文章通过对投融资内涵和理论创新的分析,指出了中国外商投资企业投资融资化的表现与成因,提出了对投资融资化的法律规制,借以避免其消极影响,促进中国经济的健康发展.     

机器学习视角下中国去产能产业的识别

随着中国环境压力的增加,政府提出了供给侧改革,去产能是改革的主要内容,但是由于产业特征的实时演变,需要对政策进行完善。文章运用模糊C均值算法和支持向量机算法分析现阶段需要进行去产能的产业,结果发现在现行去产能政策中大部分行业是需要去产能的,但煤炭开采和洗选业以及铁路、船舶、航空航天和其他运输设备制造业已不适合继续去产能,同时将化学原料和化学制品制造业加入去产能行列中。
