Selected indicators for evaluation of eco-innovation projects

This paper addresses a particular innovation projects category, that is, eco-innovation, in line with the fact that a lot of research has been recently carried out in this area, due to increasing attention. Eco-innovation projects are related to development and introducing the new products, processes and services that reduce the overall negative impact on the environment, putting the business and innovation together to create sustainable solutions. The aim of our research is developing a model for prioritization of the most frequent eco-innovation projects in the recycling field. It should be one of the key challenges for national economies as it happens to be one of the current priorities and burning issues for the European Commission (Horizon 2020, CIP, COSME, etc.), giving the proposed model framework. The ranking has been established with regard to common national economy benefits defined through identified criteria, by applying the well-known analytic hierarchy process method of multi-criteria decision-making.     

Evaluation of a method for setting confidence intervals on the common mean of two normal populations

Let X₁, , X₂, …, X be distributed N(µ, σ² _x), let Y₁, Y₂, …, Y"_n be distributed N(µ, σ² _y), and let X , X , … X_m, Y₁, Y₂, …, Y_n be mutually independent. In this paper a method for setting confidence intervals on the common mean µ is proposed and evaluated.     

实验用熔炉中同步进行结晶测试

在先前的文献中描述了一种空气冷却的测试管,该测试管拥有一系列的插座和插头(在结晶过程中使用的转换插座),可以安装在实验室箱式熔炉中。该装置的用途是调节物质在坩埚槽中结晶过程的晶面和结晶速率。在本文中我们讨论一种改进型的内部冷却器——锯齿状的空气冷却管(结晶架)。这种改进型的冷却器可以简单地搭建和操作,可以延长和弯曲成为各种形状,可以用于坩埚和熔炉管中。该冷却器可以通过简单的调控对不同结晶参数和物质同步进行结晶测试,利用实验用熔炉就可以达到从一系列新型的具有层状晶体结构的化合物中得到晶体的目的。     

Small samples confidencce intervals on common mean of two normal distributions variances

Let X₁,X₂,…,X_m be distributed normally with mean μ and variance σ² _X; Let Y₁,Y₂,…,Y_n be distributed normally with mean μ and variance σ² _Y; let X₁,X₂,…,X_m,Y₁,Y₂,…,Y_n be jointly independent. There have been several papers written concerning point estimation of μ for this problem, but very little is available in the literature concerning confidence intervals on the common mean μ. In this paper a method is proposed that results in a confidence interval with confidence coefficient essentially equal to a prescribed value 1 - α. The method is evaluated and compnred with other methods through the expected length of the confidence interval.
