This paper examines the relationships between equity theory, equity sensitivity, and organizational citizenship behavior. Several issues are investigated: whether individuals from different cultures differ in their equity sensitivity orientations; whether individuals from different cultures differ in preference for benevolent, equity sensitive, and entitled situations involving a case scenario; and whether cultural differences impact organizational citizenship behavior. 相似文献

Mixed Poisson processes have been used as natural models for events occurring in continuous or discrete time. Our main result is the derivation of the joint asymptotic distributions of statistics, including parameter estimators, computed in different time intervals from data generated by mixed Poisson processes. These distributions can be used, for example, to test the hypothesis about the adequacy of the mixed Poisson process against data. We provide some simulation results and test the model on actual market research data. 相似文献

We consider a wide range of combinatorial group testing problems with lies including binary, additive and multiaccess channel group testing problems. We derive upper bounds for the number of tests in the optimal nonadaptive algorithms. The derivation is probabilistic and is therefore non-constructive; it does not provide the way of constructing optimal algorithms. In the asymptotic setting, we show that the leading term for the number of tests does not depend on the number of lies and it is thus the same as for the zero-lie case. However, the other terms in the asymptotic upper bounds depend on the number of lies and substantially influence the upper bounds in the non-asymptotic situation. 相似文献

The demographic factor plays a major role in the economic processes contributing to the rate of economic growth and the level of welfare. Economic conditions exert a reciprocal influence on demographic processes. This article studies both the various aspects of the relationships between demographic change and economic growth and also the influence of demographic changes on the welfare of generations and of families. The author underlines the underestimation by both demographers and economists of the large positive contribution of the demographic revolution to economic development and social welfare. 相似文献

Real-time data on national accounts statistics typically undergo an extensive revision process, leading to multiple vintages on the same generic variable. The time between the publication of the initial and final data is a lengthy one and raises the question of how to model and forecast the final vintage of data – an issue that dates from seminal articles by Mankiw et al. [51], Mankiw and Shapiro [52] and Nordhaus [57]. To solve this problem, we develop the non-parametric method of multivariate singular spectrum analysis (MSSA) for multi-vintage data. MSSA is much more flexible than the standard methods of modelling that involve at least one of the restrictive assumptions of linearity, normality and stationarity. The benefits are illustrated with data on the UK index of industrial production: neither the preliminary vintages nor the competing models are as accurate as the forecasts using MSSA. 相似文献
