论“化”字词语的英译

通过对“化”字词语进行词源、构词结构、搭配组合进行广泛而深入的探讨，提出并归纳其英译的特点、方法，提高了汉语里大量存在并不断涌现的“化”字词语的翻译质量，实现了“化”字词语翻译的时代同步性和准确性。

伦理视角下“亚当·斯密问题”的现代解读

本文从分析亚当.斯密问题的产生入手,引出了三个有意义的现代话题,即尊重人性的丰富性和复杂性,加强经济学和伦理学的融合,以及伦理学在高科技时代我国市场经济建设中的意义,并对经济建设中的道德建设进行了有益的思考。     

Cigarette Smoking Among Korean International College Students in the United States

Abstract

Objective and Participants: This study explored (1) the prevalence of cigarette smoking among South Korean international college students in the United States, (2) differences in smoking between on- and off-campus living arrangements, and (3) predictors of an increase in smoking over time in the United States Methods: An online survey was completed by 1,201 students at 52 4-year US universities (34% response rate). Results: The overall smoking prevalence was 43.5%. The smoking rate (29.0%) of female students was higher than that (4%) of female college students in South Korea. Sex, living place, living situation, length of stay as a student in the United States, home smoking rules, campus-wide tobacco-free policies, and levels of acculturative stress, anxiety, and depression were significantly associated with an increase in smoking (p < .05). Conclusions: Given the high smoking prevalence among the South Korean students on US college campuses, targeted prevention efforts for these students may be warranted.

作者借鉴系统科学研究的方法,对人工物的技术创造过程及中心法则进行比较分析,指认二者为具有逻辑相应性的同态过程,以中心法则为技术创造的同态概念模型进行分析,反应出信息要素的表达在产品使用价值构成中的关键地位,进而揭示出使用价值的生成存在一个不同于产品制造的场所——一个在以往被忽略了的隐蔽场所。

Multivariate Kendall's tau for change‐point detection in copulas

Statistical procedures for the detection of a change in the dependence structure of a series of multivariate observations are studied in this work. The test statistics that are proposed are $L_1$ , $L_2$ , and $L_{\infty }$ distances computed from vectors of differences of Kendall's tau; two multivariate extensions of Kendall's measure of association are used. Since the distributions of these statistics under the null hypothesis of no change depend on the unknown underlying copula of the vectors, a procedure based on the multiplier central limit theorem is used for the computation of p‐values; the method is shown to be valid both asymptotically and for moderate sample sizes. Alternative versions of the tests that take into account possible breakpoints in the marginal distributions are also investigated. Monte Carlo simulations show that the tests are powerful under many scenarios of change‐point. In addition, two estimators of the time of change are proposed and their efficiency is carefully studied.
