论马克思主义哲学的主导作用——兼论与其他哲学的关系

马克思首创了实践哲学,包括实践逻辑、实践认识论、实践世界观、社会形态史、历史唯物论,落脚点则是哲学的阶级立场革命。惟有在这样的哲学基地上才能生长出足以满足当代中国实践对“历史向导”的要求的新哲学理论———这就是它的主导作用。所有别的哲学都属于解释世界的哲学。实践哲学与解释哲学是“主导”与“基础”的关系,亦即水涨船高、协同发展的关系。

李斌《村庄视野中的阶级、性别与家庭结构：以1950年代湘北塘村为中心的考察》一书,以湘北塘村为个案,通过大量的口述资料和地方文献,质疑和深化了前人关于妇女解放和男女平等的经典论述。不同于以往革命史叙事下以国家为主体的论述,作者紧紧围绕性别、家庭和阶级三个维度,从女性视角出发,展现了农村妇女在解放前、土地改革时期、农业合作化时期和“大跃进”运动时期中切实的出境和生命体验,揭示了不同时期男女平等与不平等、妇女解放与未解放的复杂性,因而也刷新了我们对1950年代中国农村妇女的认识。     

Contents of heavy metals in arable soils and birth defect risks in Shanxi, China: a small area level geographic study

The burgeoning demands of China’s urbanization and industrial development put pressure on the resources of the entire country and have direct and indirect effects on the health of individuals, at times in areas far removed from cities themselves. Current evidence suggests that heavy metal pollution in soil, a common by-product of coal mining and other industrial activities, may be linked to risk of birth defects. We examine this hypothesis using small area level data including soil samples and detailed birth records from 2002 to 2004 from 97 villages in Shanxi province, a heavy coal-mining region. We find that soils containing arsenic, lead, and nickel are significantly correlated with the incidence of birth defects. In particular, we find a strong positive dose-dependent association of birth defects with lead, a moderate positive effect with arsenic, and a dose-dependent negative association with nickel. These results are consistent with the postulated link between arsenic and lead and human birth defects, but raise questions about the effects of nickel in this context. China’s rapid urbanization underscores the need for closer attention to the relationship between the health and the environment.     

论“受众研究”方法对视觉文化研究的启发

在视觉文化研究的推进过程中,针对受众及其意义生产行为的探讨无疑提供了有益的启发.首先,受众研究立足于主体的接受活动,不仅改变了接受者在视觉文化研究中长期缺席的困境,更促使主体内涵得到了全面而充实的辩证演绎.其次,受众研究从社会文化状况和技术性条件切入,打破了机械、僵化的观看格局,呈现出个体在不同情境下多元、动态的观看状况；第三,受众研究通过对真实、生动的视觉经验的询唤,突出了研究的“自反性”,从而有力地挑战了传统研究中“观念先行”的刻板模式.

内控有效性、高管代理成本与多重并购绩效

立足于企业转型升级和跨越式发展的战略诉求,并购成为企业实现迅速扩张和优化资源配置的重要工具.本文选取2009-2014年发生并购重组事件的A股上市公司作为研究对象,以并购交易绩效、并购整合绩效和并购可持续增长绩效多重指标为研究侧重点,结合我国特有的产权制度背景,考察内部控制有效性、高管代理成本对多重并购绩效的影响.研究发现,高质量的内部控制能够有效改善多重并购绩效,高管代理成本会抑制并购后主并公司的多重并购绩效;同时,内部控制能减弱代理成本对并购绩效的损害程度,但这一治理作用在国有企业与非国有企业中表现各异.研究结论为我国进一步加强包括内部控制和公司治理机制在内的制度建设提供决策依据.     

试论霍布斯设计的现代政教体制

本文通过分析托马斯·霍布斯在《利维坦》和《比希莫斯》中的神学政治论,评判霍布斯对于宗教的哲学立场与实践立场,阐明这种宗教抉择背后霍布斯政治哲学的根基,同时评介多位现代学者对霍布斯神学政治论的研究,并且展望一个较大规模的研究:即现代政教合一体制是否存在的问题.     

Custom Epoch Estimation for Surveys

The paper provides a method for generating epoch estimates for time series survey data, allowing for different periods of time (or even point estimates) according to user demand. The method uses a modified kriging estimator, which suppresses the contribution of sampling error variability in order to guarantee that custom epoch estimates have an interpolation property. For the veteran population variable of the American Community Survey, we utilize a simple Brownian Motion model of the population process and derive the modified kriging estimator for this case. The tuning parameters of this population model can be calibrated to the data via simple formulas. We illustrate the application of this method to the generation of point estimates of veteran population, an important objective for Veterans Affairs.
