对三峡大学的部分学生的营养状况、营养知识和饮食行为进行问卷调查,结果表明:大学生营养不良程度较轻,其饮食的月消费水平大都在200~400元之间,但营养知识的掌握情况一般,同时存在一些不良的饮食行为,因此,学校应强化营养知识教育,在加强后勤管理与改革的同时,把提高学生食堂供餐的营养质量作为一项重要的工作来抓。  相似文献

Background: Sarcopenia is a pathophysiological condition diffused in elderly people; it represents a social issue due to the longer life expectancy and the growing aging population. It affects negatively quality of life and it represents a risk factor for other pathologies, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and obesity. No silver bullet exists to hinder sarcopenia, but it may be counteracted by physical exercise, nutrition, and a proper endocrine milieu. Indeed, we aim to analyze the scientific literature to give to clinician effective advices to counteract sarcopenia.

Main text: Physical exercise, proper nutrition, optimized hormonal homeostasis represent the three pillars to fight sarcopenia. Physical exercise represents the most effective remedy to face sarcopenia, in particular if it is combined with a proper diet and with an adequate endocrine milieu. Consistency in training, adequate daily protein intake and eugonadism seems to be the keys to fight sarcopenia. The combination of these three pillars might act synergistically.

Conclusions: Optimization of these factors may increase their efficiency; however, scientific data may be sometimes confusing so far. Therefore, we aim to give practical advices to clinician to identify and to highlight the most important aspects in each of these three factors that should be addressed.  相似文献

This study aimed to analyze the effects of caloric restriction on aged femoral articular cartilage of Wistar rats. Three groups of eight animals each were considered: young (YC) and old (OC) control groups fed with a normal diet and old caloric restriction group (OCR) composed of 18-month-old animals fed with a 31% less caloric diet from 6-months of age. Articular cartilage was studied through morphometry and immunohistochemistry. Body mass was 12% less in the OCR group than in the OC group. BackgroundFetal movements are a key indicator of fetal health. Research has established significant correlations between altered fetal activity and stillbirth. However, women are generally unaware of this relationship. Providing pregnant women with information about the importance of fetal movements could improve stillbirth rates. However, there are no consistent fetal movements awareness messages globally for pregnant women.AimsThis study aimed to explore the antenatal care experiences of Australian mothers who had recently had a live birth to determine their knowledge of fetal movements, the nature and source of that information.MethodsAn online survey method was used for 428 women who had a live birth and received antenatal care in Australia. Women’s knowledge of fetal movements, stillbirth risk, and the sources of this knowledge was explored.FindingsA large proportion of participants (84.6%; n = 362) stated they had been informed by health care professionals of the importance of fetal movements during pregnancy. Open-ended responses indicate that fetal movements messages are often myth based. Awareness that stillbirth occurs was high (95.2%; n = 398), although, 65% (n = 272) were unable to identify the current incidence of stillbirth in Australia.ConclusionWomen who received antenatal care have high-awareness of fetal movements, but the information they received was inconsistent. Participants knew stillbirth occurred but did not generally indicate they had obtained that knowledge from health care professionals. We recommend a consistent approach to fetal movements messaging throughout pregnancy which focuses on stillbirth prevention.  相似文献

BackgroundThe prevalence of high body mass index is increasing amongst women of child bearing age. High maternal body mass index has ramifications for both mother and baby including increased health risks from gestational diabetes mellitus, caesarean section and stillbirth. Despite the increasing prevalence of high maternal body mass index little is known of the experiences of these women regarding nutrition information access and use during the antenatal period.MethodsA qualitative study using individual interviews was undertaken at a tertiary hospital in south-eastern Australia. Twenty-Eight women with a body mass index ≥30 kg/m2 participated. Interviews were audio recorded, transcribed, cross-checked for consistency and entered into a word processing document for further scrutiny. Data was analysed using interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA). In any phenomenological study the researcher’s objective is to elicit the participant’s views on their lived experiences.FindingsThree major themes emerged: (1) Nutrition-related information attainment; (2) Nutrition-related information management; (3) Nutrition-related information needs and wants.ConclusionThe findings from this study may assist the future development and dissemination of nutrition-related information for pregnant women with a high body mass index. Women want more individualised support regarding nutritional requirements during pregnancy.  相似文献

BackgroundThe number of interventions is lower, and the level of satisfaction is higher among women who receive midwife-led primary care from one or two midwives, compared to more midwives. This suggests that midwives in small-sized practices practice more women-centred. This has yet to be explored.ObjectiveTo examine pregnant women’s perceptions, of the interpersonal action component of woman-centred care by primary care midwives, working in different sized practices.MethodsA cross-sectional study using the Client Centred Care Questionnaire (CCCQ), administered during the third trimester of pregnancy among Dutch women receiving midwife-led primary care from midwives organised in small-sized practices (1−2 midwives), medium-sized (3−4 midwives) and large-sized practices (≥5 midwives). A Welch ANOVA with post hoc Bonferroni correction was performed to examine the differences.Results553 completed questionnaires were received from 91 small-sized practices/104 women, 98 medium-sized practices/258 women and 65 large-sized practices/191 women. The overall sum scores varied between 57–72 on a minimum/maximum scoring range of 15–75. Women reported significantly higher woman-centred care scores of midwives in small-sized practices (score 70.7) compared with midwives in medium-sized practices (score 63.6) (p < .001) and large-sized practices (score 57.9) (p < .001), showing a large effect (d .88; d 1.56). Women reported statistically significant higher woman-centred care scores of midwives in medium-sized practices compared with large-sized practices (p < .001), showing a medium effect (d .69).ConclusionThere is a significant variance in woman-centred care based on women’s perceptions of woman-midwife interactions in primary care midwifery, with highest scores reported by women receiving care from a maximum of two midwives. Although the CCCQ scores of all practices are relatively high, the significant differences in favour of small-sized practices may contribute to moving woman-centred care practice from ‘good’ to ‘excellent’ practice.  相似文献

当今国内对蒙台梭利的研究更多体现在宏观层面,而专门对饮食生活教育的研究较少受到关注,特别是缺乏“深描”性质的质化研究。鉴于此,研究者以6部蒙台梭利教育论著作为“访谈”对象,采用非交互性资料收集方式,深度挖掘文献资源,通过三级编码发展出蒙氏儿童饮食生活教育的扎根理论。研究发现,蒙氏儿童饮食生活教育思想体系包括饮食营养的价值追求、食物的来源及处理、儿童饮食行为的发展、饮食生活教育过程等4个理论构念,其中包含健康功能、健康权利、健康卫生、食品制作、食物选择、饮食文化、发展需求、发展阶段、营养因素、行为练习、饮食调控、教育误区等12个触发式概念。蒙氏饮食生活教育也是一个调节儿童与食物主客交互并具有积极价值追求的实践体系,对于当今儿童健康教育现实具有极强的指导意义。  相似文献

Objective: Colleges should aim to cultivate healthy behaviors among students by addressing alterations in wellness students view as important. The purpose of this study was to determine the self-perceived wellness-related concerns and behaviors of college students. Participants: Thirty-seven undergraduate students participated in this study between January and March 2017. Methods: Focus groups served as a data collection method. Groups were recorded and transcribed verbatim. Directed and conventional approaches to data analyses were employed. Results: Participants expressed concern regarding four campus wellness topics: nutrition, economics, mental health, and campus safety. Participants offered solutions for improving campus wellness, representing a fifth theme. Conclusions: Health concerns for college students and realistic solutions to address concerns were identified across focus groups. Overall, students cared about their own health, as well as the well-being of other students. Future directions include conducting a Web-based survey among students to assess prevalence and impact of select health and wellness topics.  相似文献
