论杂志在社会转型期的责任——新闻史上的黑幕揭发运动引发的思考

19世纪末20世纪初,一批作家和杂志记者通过“黑幕揭发”在美国发起一场旨在揭露社会腐败现象的新闻报道和文学创作运动。这场运动促进了处于转型期美国社会的全面变革,同时杂志业也迅速崛起与发展。今天的中国也在经历着社会转型,遇到了黑幕揭发作品所揭露的社会问题,黑幕揭发运动对于当代中国杂志的发展仍具有启示意义。     

The Prevention of Social Aggression Among Girls

This study represents the first systematic attempt to examine a theory‐based program designed to reduce girls' social aggression and increase positive leadership among peers. Fifth‐grade girls from six public schools were randomly assigned within classrooms to the social aggression prevention program (SAPP) and the comparison reading clubs. A school‐based small group program, the SAPP was demonstrated to have a positive impact for all students in the domain of social problem solving. For students with high baseline social problems, teachers reported positive changes in SAPP participants' prosocial behavior. In addition, the content of the program was critical: reading club participants improved their reading achievement at greater rates than SAPP participants. Targeting female students in a program focused on resolving social conflicts from multiple perspectives may be an important addition to broader, multilevel initiatives to prevent aggression and promote leadership in schools.     

Adolescent parenthood,economic issues,and social policies

Adolescent parenthood has highly publicized adverse social and economic consequences, but these same social and economic disadvantages can be viewed as root causes of adolescent pregnancy. Recent research and revisionist debates about these issues are reviewed and summarized. Diverse implications for social policy are considered. Prevention approaches are emphasized that build on both postponing adolescent sexual intercourse and helping sexually active teens avoid pregnancy.Appreciation is expressed to Christine Bachrach and Kristin Moore for their comments on a previous version of this paper.Dr. Miller's current research interests are the family antecedents of adolescent sexual behavior and the design and evaluation of prevention programs for adolescent problem behaviors. He received his Ph.D. in family sociology from the University of Minnesota in 1975.     

对撒拉族女童教育状况的人类学调查与研究

撒拉族青少年的教育状况,尤其女童教育状况自20世纪80年代初以来一直不容乐观,备受关注。本文从教育人类学的角度,参考先前学者的调查结果,结合当地实际,对新世纪撒拉族女童的教育状况进行了调查与分析。在分析了影响撒拉族女童教育的主、客观两个方面的原因后,作者提出少数民族女童的教育状况,不能仅仅凭借学校教育为本来做结论,与家庭教育有关的少数民族"本土文化"教育也不容忽视。     

贵州苗族聚居区苗族女童教育普及现状及研究状况

鉴于女童教育对妇女人力资源开发的重要地位与作用,坚持促进女童教育均衡发展成为迈向社会主义和谐社会,实现全面小康社会的重要途径。当前民族地区女童教育滞后,对其普及现状及研究状况的切合实际的了解、认识,对民族地区女童教育发展战略研究具有极为重要的现实意义,本文仅就贵州苗族聚居区苗族女童教育为个案进行剖析。     

国内语用学研究:现状、路径与展望——对2008—2010年8种外语类核心期刊的实证分析

依循语用学研究的5个维度,即整体分布情况、研究主题、研究方法、研究语种和语料来源,对2008—2010年间8种外语类核心期刊进行实证分析,研究显示目前国内语用学研究呈现出学科融合多元化、研究方法实证化、语用研究本土化和语料来源多样化的多维指向的科学发展路径。与此同时,国内语用学的研究中仍存在一些问题亟待修正与完善。     

西域传说中的特殊国度

无论是正史"四夷传"还是地理博物类小说所记载的西域地区,都存在着小人国与女儿国这样的特殊国度。小人国的传说既有西南地区僬侥国的史实依据,也深受小大之言等俳词传统的影响;女儿国的传说既有西藏地区东女国的现实投影,也反映了印度传说的流播与接受;西域地区的特殊性使得这些传说在此地汇聚。这些传说除了满足好奇心与求知欲以外,更潜隐着通过强调他族的异质性以凝聚本族的文化功能.     

‘I want to be better than you:’ lived experiences of intergenerational child maltreatment prevention among teenage mothers in and beyond foster care

The growing body of research on teenage motherhood in foster care has largely focused on the risks involved for both mother and child, yet these mothers depict a much more complex picture of their own experience of becoming and being mothers. The current study employed interpretative phenomenological analysis to explore 18 in‐depth, qualitative interviews from six participants on the meaning and experience of motherhood among teenage mothers in foster care and in the years immediately after ageing out. This study focused on a particular dimension of motherhood: participants' efforts to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect with their own children. Two themes emerged as characteristic of these experiences: (i) treating children well/parenting differently and avoiding the system; and (ii) reducing isolation and enhancing support. Given the increased likelihood of the children of teen mothers – particularly those who have been maltreated – becoming involved with the child welfare system, study findings suggest possible strategies for disrupting cycles of intergenerational child welfare involvement generated by young mothers themselves. Practice implications for addressing possible substance abuse, mental health and relational and parenting needs are discussed.     

消费符号下的双重隐喻——女性时尚杂志广告的意识形态分析

在消费主义的热潮下,当今热销的女性时尚杂志在广告商品信息的同时,自身也作为一个巨大的消费文本传递出“建构的意义”,即传统根深蒂固的父权制性别成见与正在进行中的时尚性消费主义,这二者作为时尚杂志这个巨大消费符号下的双重隐喻,通过深层意义的建构,被置于时尚杂志内部。     

International women's magazines in China: Global and local perspectives

Unlike other global media products that are imported from overseas, international women's magazines in China are published via licensing agreements or joint ventures with local companies. These ownership patterns allow local editions of international women's magazines to negotiate the tensions and contradictions between the global players and local publishers. Given the influence of cultural and commercial forces in different economic environments, international women's magazines provide a challenging platform for exploring the interaction between global and local forces. Through a theoretical framework of hybridity theory and in-depth interviews with editorial personnel from the magazine industry, this study explores the global and local forces that have contributed to the production process of international women's magazines in China. The findings reveal that these magazines are a result of a multi-level convergence of local realities and global influences. Although there are factors of control and dependence in many areas such as the publishing ideas, editorial policies, the training of personnel, and the quality of production, both Western-style and Japanese-style women's magazines tend to appropriate and rework global cultures to satisfy local readers' needs, albeit in different ways. As a result, local and transnational influences are inextricably interwoven in the production process of international women's magazines in China. The study provides an extensive understanding of the global processes, the consumers, and the cultural forces that are shaping the media, particularly magazines in China.
