Karl Heinrich Ulrichs: First Theorist of Erotic Age Orientation

The nomination of Karl Heinrich Ulrichs (1825–1895) as the first theorist of homosexuality may be placed in the oblique light of his eligibility for the nomination as the first theorist of erotic age orientation. In Ulrichs’s pamphlets, “man-manly” homosexuality emerged as a particular age orientation, with a subsequent typological breakdown that, importantly, blended gender orientation and age orientation. Into the early 20th century, erotic age orientation remained bound up with the classification and emancipation of what here was demarcated as Urningsliebe. Ulrichs’s pioneering and shifting comments on age eventually fed into his legal model of consenting adults in private. They also provide a starting point for the historical understanding of the trope of “grooming pedophile” as it, arguably, crossfaded with that of the “seducing homosexual” after the latter’s depsychiatricization across the Western world.

古今中外,“色情”饱受非议,乃至遭到抛弃。而在正统文学中,它要么根本不被看作文学,要么被打上否定或负面的标签。桑塔格却发现了色情文学其实是文学的一种——与色情作品不同,色情文学本身包含了较多的思想性和拓展性因素。同时,借助于萨德和巴塔耶对色情小说的研究,桑塔格发现了色情文学的重要价值,也赞赏了他们在人类意识和思想的可能性之开拓方面所做出的努力。当然,桑塔格并非要引发一种色情实践或色情泛滥。毋宁说,桑塔格实际上是想告诉人们：我们需要直面“色情”和“色情文学”本身。只有如此,我们才能不被道德判断阻隔自己的眼界,不被外物迷惑和干扰自己的判断,也才能发现色情文学的真正价值和意义。事实上,在桑塔格看来,色情文学既是越界和超越性想象,也是自由的象征。

进入新世纪以来,“70”后作家的创作普遍呈现狂欢化倾向,身体写作、下半身写作的“形而下状态”的“肉体的体验”为狂欢化叙事作出了具有转喻意义的注脚。另一方面,余华、莫言、毕飞宇、贾平凹、阎连科、格非等已经有相当影响的作家,也选择狂欢化叙事作为其创作的转向和突破。狂欢化叙事已经溢出了既有的“知识”视野,主流文学的知识谱系无法对它作出有效的指认和判断,在近年来的小说创作中,狂欢化的人物、艺术思维的狂欢化和狂欢化的语言特征集中反映了这一变化。     

在夹缝中妥协:农村女性情感实践模式个案研究

通过对农村女性婚外恋个案研究,我们发现,农村女性的婚外恋是一种寄居在家庭外壳下的情欲模式,且这种情欲模式已经呈现出物质化与享乐主义的特征。在熟人社会中,她们通过婚姻家庭获得乡村社会的认可与满足其合法女性的象征资本;同时借助婚姻的外衣,她们又在婚外恋中追求着优雅、体面的享乐恋情。处于这样的夹缝位置,一方面是女性自身的文化资本、经济资本与生活环境造就了女性的牢笼处境;另一方面,对精英男性的经济依附以及优于底层男性的婚姻市场优势,构成了女性情欲实践的结构性基础。在象征资本、经济资本与熟人社会的复杂建构中,农村女性情欲模式的行动策略,呈现出农村女性的半自主的性别主体性。     

深层情欲的压抑与释放——贾琏“偷情行为”的心理透析

以往对贾琏"偷情行为"的解读更多着眼于道德层面,因此"偷情"似乎成了展现贾琏恶习的重要因素。其实生命原欲的受阻、性择范围的缩小和由男性尊严丧失而带来的压抑感才是贾琏"偷情"的根本动因。在"人欲"层面探求贾琏"偷情行为"的根本动因,关注其心灵层面的嬗变,是解读贾琏形象的关键所在。     

Finding Erotic Oases: Locating the Sites of Men's Same-Sex Anonymous Sexual Encounters

ABSTRACT

Because anonymous sexual relations between two men are widely considered deviant many men seeking such activities look to erotic oases—natural environments appropriated for covert, often furtive sexual purposes. Previous research on erotic oases has focused on characteristics of involved men and processes of locating, negotiating with, and consummating sexual relations with others. This study draws on one major Web site listing of “cruising places” in the United States to identify common locations for erotic oases. Results show that the most common locations identified as erotic oases by users are public parks, adult bookstores, health clubs, and college campuses. Locations most likely to be listed as believed to be under law enforcement surveillance are outdoor, high traffic locations. Based on these results existing research has only begun to examine the most common locations for this highly stigmatized, deviant behavior and subculture.
