尴尬的境遇:1950年代的茅盾

1950年代,茅盾经历了曲折、漫长而痛楚的思想改造历程,遭际了尴尬的人生境遇。这表现在四个方面:一、作为文艺界的领导者,茅盾在工作中处于尴尬的境地;二、作为文学评论家,茅盾多次陷入"因文罹祸"的尴尬;三、作为文艺政策的解说者,茅盾往往言不由衷、自相矛盾;四、作为一个有责任感的作家,茅盾1950年代创作的多次尝试都半途而废。     

从两个公式看累积投票制的适用

2006年1月1日开始实施的《公司法》明确规定股份公司在选举董事、监事时可实行累积投票制,原意是更好地维护中小股东的权益,然而从两个简单的公式即可看出累积投票制的实施必然会遇到一些困难。     

Estimating a distribution for each category of a sensitive variate

The use of a Randomized Response (RR) design makes it possible to estimate the distribution of a sensitive variate. In this paper, the estimation of the distribution of a non-sensitive variate for each category of a sensitive variate is considered for the case where data on the sensitive variate is obtained by use of an RR procedure. Simple estimators are developed without making any distributional assumptions about the non-sensitive variate. However, if distributional assumptions are made, it is shown that the EM algorithm may be used to compute Maximum Likelihood estimates. Computational comparisons of the estimators, using simulation, indicate that the simple estimators perform well, particularly for large sample sizes.
