表现主义绘画语言在现代包装设计中的应用

作为“纯艺术”的表现主义绘画,与作为实用艺术的现代包装设计,都基于共同的平面性质,二者在某种程度上有着密切的联系.尤其是表现主义诞生之日起,便以一个全新的理念与具有视觉冲击力的表现手法,打破了人们的视觉习惯,同时也给平面设计带来了巨大的影响,使包装设计多了一种样式.包装平面设计在借鉴表现主义版画的艺术观念时要注意利弊,过度地使用艺术语言会使设计作品削弱其实用价值,这就要求设计师具有较强的思考能力.     

传统文化作用下的版画形式创新

中国现代版画艺术的创新发展只有立足于对传统造型基础上的视觉形式元素、材质媒介进行新的创建融合,创造出一种全新的版画艺术形式的视觉符号,才能有助于在包含中国传统文化作用下的版画形式语言现代性的转换。     

新目录学派志:英国文学考据的兴起与没落

通过介绍以沃特·威尔逊·格雷格爵士为代表的目录派三杰,在对文学文本基本物质形态从手稿到印刷文本辨伪和考证批评的基础上,经过厘定文本讹误和四次重要的学术论战,确立了作者的神圣地位,让文学成为绝对科学化的大学学科,但新目录派最终却退出了现代西方文论思潮。观照几乎同时产生于印刷术所带来的学术分裂期的中国乾嘉派,它能够客观对待经学作者,并形成了系统的治学方法,从而稳步发展为今天的朴学大潮,在此视阈下分析并阐明新目录派无法形成体系的原因,恰在于其过分强调科学权威性而漠视了文学本身的独特因素造成的方枘圆凿,藉此提出中国治学方法借鉴于西方文论批评的可行性。     

Linguistic instrumentalism and national language policy in Mainland China’s state print media coverage of the Protecting Cantonese Movement

This article examines the Chinese government’s use of the print media to justify the national language policy and address individuals’ concerns about the vitality of regional varieties of the Chinese language (i.e., Cantonese) in its coverage of the Protecting Cantonese Movement (July 2010) in Guangzhou. The analysis revealed that the Chinese government adopted a relatively reconciliatory response to the Movement, which apparently contested the relevant language policy. However, the media texts maintained the national policy of promoting Putonghua as inviolable, whereas they assigned Cantonese the role of the carrier of cultural tradition and stressed that the rise or fall of particular regional language depended on regional socioeconomic developments. Such media discussions showed that the state carefully managed relevant discussions about the vitality of regional Chinese varieties within the discursive space defined by legalistic, cultural, and socioeconomic development discourses. These discursive boundaries reflect the dominance of linguistic instrumentalism in the Chinese government’s language policymaking.     

Regarding the Protests of Others

While much social movement research focuses on how activists actively cultivate affect and how social movements benefit from shared emotions, these ideas rarely intersect with research examining how race constructs emotional responses in a white settler society. I bridge this theoretical divide by examining the 2009 Tamil diaspora protests in Canada to study dimensions of suffering and apathy through the construction of the racialized protest(er). Drawing upon illustrations from a critical discourse analysis of 153 mainstream news articles and interviews with activists and journalists, this paper explores how racial logic frames media and public discourse through (1) the expression of protesters’ suffering and (2) the construction of racial apathy by the Canadian public. The paper theorizes why and how race frames the production of suffering and apathy, and offers considerations for social movement theory.     

“Difficult,Messy, Nasty,and Sensational”

Feminist publishing played an important role in the feminist art movement of the 1970s and into the 1980s, and Heresies: A Feminist Publication on Art and Politics was a key journal in this landscape. This paper argues that Heresies is important not only because it was a forum for some of the most influential feminist art women of the period, but because it experimented with an editorial structure that required participants to reckon with the discomforts of difference. Editors of the periodical took seriously the feminist critique of hierarchically structured organizational cultures and both promoted and practiced collective publishing. Moreover, through an emphasis on editorial statements, I consider how Heresies gives expression to the affective entanglements of the women involved in Heresies' specific form of collaboration and collective feminist politics. An examination of the editorials as sites of affective intensity helps to come to an understanding not of what women were thinking, writing, and making, but how they may have felt about their work and their relationships with women with whom they worked.

蔡易庵先生是近代以来扬州印坛的重要印人.其篆刻艺术以秦汉印为"源",对明清和近代印学流派印人印章作精当的吸收,形成个人的特色.其印章法上得秦汉布白之意,用刀得晚清印人刀法,而以"冲"、"涩"运之,并以碑版入印,形成了清穆醇和、淹雅简约的印风.这种烂漫之趣、生涩之美、自然之韵在现代印坛另辟一途,富于新的审美趣味,丰富了当代篆刻的创作.

韩国古典诗话秉承儒家诗教,认为诗歌有很强的社会作用,强调诗歌要为社会现实、为政治服务,要以儒家的道德标准作为评价准则.

鲁迅的黑白观念代表了其极端对立的精神特征。鲁迅文本中的“骷髅”意象是“荒原”意象的一种幻化。“战士”意象则是对于荒原 (骷髅 )意象的超越和反抗 ,他们创造了希望之光 ,“反抗绝望”之光 ,代表了鲁迅最高的精神境界。
