试述台湾少年团在抗战中的宣传活动

1937年开始的抗日战争是中华民族抗击日本侵略的战争。大陆的中华儿女和海外炎黄子孙,包括广大的台港澳同胞都参加了抗战。他们当中,不仅有青壮年,还有老人和儿童。台湾少年团只是活跃在祖国抗日战场上的千万个儿童抗日团体之一,但其抗日活动有鲜明的特点。本文拟通过对台湾少年团在抗战中的宣传鼓动活动的考述,突出台湾少年为民族解放战争作出的贡献,再现其爱国精神和期盼祖国统一的心愿。

Joint tests of non-nested models and general error specifications

This paper is concerned with joint tests of non-nested models and simultaneous departures from homoskedasticity, serial independence and normality of the disturbance terms. Locally equivalent alternative models are used to construct joint tests since they provide a convenient way to incorporate more than one type of departure from the classical conditions. The joint tests represent a simple asymptotic solution to the “pre-testing” problem in the context of non-nested linear regression models. Our simulation results indicate that the proposed tests have good finite sample properties.

Industry and the environment: a case study of cleaner technologies in selected European countries

The aim of this case study is to discuss the role of technology in addressing environmental problems. The paper tries to scratch beneath the surface of the increasingly frequent ‘quick-fix’ solutions to the present environmental problems, based on such beguiling catchwords as Cleaner Technologies, Best Available Technologies, and Best Available Technologies Not Exceeding Excessive Costs, etc., in an attempt to discover whether there is any substance in them, or whether they are just full of hot air. Recent data from case studies performed by the author in Germany and Finland as well as a postal questionnaire in Denmark are presented. The paper analyses and discusses the roles and responsibilities of designers, industrialists, and government policy-makers. It is argued that existing regulatory regimes, supranational industrial structures, and market mechanisms do not favour the development of cleaner technologies, nor do they promote a reduction in consumption patterns. Evidence from ongoing empirical research in Northwest Europe suggests that industry is far from developing and/or implementing cleaner technologies. The paper closes with a discussion of some of the policy implications involved and some examples of urgently needed further research.     

The impact and management of cognitive gap in high performance product development organizations

The close alignment of applied research and development units with manufacturing operational structures can provide excellent opportunities for maintaining robust product pipelines and reducing product development cycle times. Within such an integrated organizational model (IOM), however, lies a potentially disruptive psychological mechanism that can lead to the dissolution of this delicate partnership if it is not handled properly. This mechanism is cognitive gap, which can take several basic forms: first, as differences between the nature and difficulty of the problem at hand and the cognitive resources of the problem solvers tasked with its solution; and second, as differences between the cognitive abilities and approaches of the problem solvers themselves. In this paper, we define and discuss cognitive gap within the context of Kirton's Adaption-Innovation theory, a useful framework for understanding problem solving (and problem solvers) in general. Specific implications (both favourable and potentially destructive) of cognitive gaps for high performance product development organizations are discussed, and suggestions for their effective management are offered.     

未成年人犯罪对青少年价值观的诘问

分析认识青少年人生观、价值观扭曲的现实，是做好青少年思想道德教育工作的必要前提。运用了全国未成年犯调查资料，对未成年犯和中学生的价值观进行了比较。结果显示：不良的媒介偏好、偶像崇拜、闲暇意愿以及不正确的成功取向、交友倾向等方面的比例均是未成年犯明显高于中学生。研究认为应积极应对大众传媒不良信息对青少年的深层渗透，重视同伴教育在青少年价值观形成中的作用和道德实践。     

Illicit juvenile weapon possession: The role of serious sanctioning in future behavior

Although existing literature has well-examined basic weapon carrying trends for juveniles, little is known about weapon carriers’ differential experiences with serious sanctions including suspension, expulsion, or juvenile adjudication. It is unknown what types of weapon carriers are more likely to be subject to these sanctions or the effect of these sanctions on future behavior. The present study addresses these gaps in the literature using data obtained from the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent to Adult Health. Results indicate that seriously sanctioned weapon carriers are associated with a delinquent and risky lifestyle while other weapon carriers largely avoid these problem behaviors. Both groups, however, bring weapons to school equally often. Findings indicate that weapon carriers with gang membership are less likely to carry weapons to school or work in adulthood or own a handgun in adulthood if they avoid serious sanctioning. Policy implications of these findings are discussed.     

Guest Editorial Production Planning and Control in other Industries

This paper provides an excursion into various scheduling problems arising in the manufacturing environment and possible approaches that can be taken to solve them. It reviews the research in production scheduling from the perspective of designing and operating a production system and examines the research strategies adopted to find the solution of the practical problems. This review is in the form of the paradigms that evolved during the twentieth century and shows the transition in theory and practice of each paradigm. It covers the fundamental frameworks of scheduling theory, outlining various approaches that can be taken to solve (optimally or approximately) such problems, and the difficulties arising in their practical use. Subsequently, an iterative scheduling process is suggested as an extension of existing paradigms to solve practical production scheduling problems and to bridge the gap between theory and practice in production scheduling and control.     

西方传媒语境中伊斯兰妇女问题文化辨析

西方传媒不但对《古兰经》所渗透着的女性关怀精神的本源性思想进行了“恶毒中伤”,还传布伊斯兰教反妇女论来“蓄意丑化”其自成体系的妇女观。本文力求全面梳理伊斯兰文化妇女观的主导精神与西方传媒所给定的“反妇女论”间互错的原因、表现、实质等一系列的问题,从“本源与变异”的全新视角来重新审视伊斯兰妇女问题,力求达到正本清源的学术目的。
