Changing Frameworks in Attitudes Toward Abortion

For more than two decades, legal abortion has been the subject of heated political debate and adversarial social movement activity; however, national polls have shown little change in aggregate levels of support for abortion. This analysis examines how the determinants of abortion attitudes have changed between 1977 and 1996, using data from the General Social Surveys. While in early time periods, whites were more approving of abortion than blacks, that pattern had reversed by the late 1980s. After controlling for other factors, older people are more accepting of abortion throughout the two decades, while gender is generally unrelated to abortion views. Catholic religion weakens slightly as a predictor of abortion attitudes, while religious fundamentalism and political liberalism increase in explanatory power. The associations between attitudinal correlates and abortion approval also change over this time period. Religiosity becomes a less powerful predictor of abortion attitudes, while respondents' attitude toward sexual freedom and belief in the sanctity of human life increase in their predictive power. Support for gender inequality remains a weak but stable predictor of abortion attitudes. This pattern of results suggests that the public is influenced more by the pro-life framework of viewing abortion than by the pro-choice perspective.

<史记>叙事首创"互见法",取得了很高的艺术成就.然而,今人在嘉许<史记>"互见法"首创价值的时候,对部分互见文字的真伪要谨慎,还应看到<史记>"互见法"体系并不完备,<史记>"互见法"的运用还不很自觉,特别是"互见法"对于今人还原<史记>"一家之言"的哲学真相有很大的干扰.     

延安时期的中国古代史研究

延安时期的中国古代史研究在是在相对稳定的政治环境和较为自由的学术氛围下进行的。当时学者坚持以唯物史观为指导,采用了丰富多样的历史研究手段,在立足史料,实事求是的基础上,对中国古代史上一些重大历史问题,从理论高度进行了系统的分析。其研究成果曾产生了重要的影响。但由于过分强调史学研究为现实服务,因而其科学性便受到损害,甚至在个别问题上出现了非历史主义的倾向。     

《〈黑格尔法哲学批判〉导言》中的思想政治教育理念

作为马克思主义思想政治教育具有“原则高度”的理论开端,《〈黑格尔法哲学批判〉导言》在对宗教、思辨法哲学等迄今为止政治意识形式的否定性批判中,内在建构了马克思意识形态概念的核心要素与理论逻辑：从意识形态生成根源、精神变物质原理、理论实现条件等批判维度,深刻揭示了“颠倒的世界决定颠倒的世界意识”“彻底的副本批判必然会专注于原本和实践”“理论一经掌握群众也会变成物质力量”以及“理论实现程度取决于国家需要程度”等基本规律,初步确立了马克思意识形态批判和无产阶级思想政治教育的基本理念。     

The web proxy location problem in general tree of rings networks

The Web proxy location problem in general networks is an NP-hard problem. In this paper, we study the problem in networks showing a general tree of rings topology. We improve the results of the tree case in literature and get an exact algorithm with time complexity O(nhk), where n is the number of nodes in the tree, h is the height of the tree (the server is in the root of the tree), and k is the number of web proxies to be placed in the net. For the case of networks with a general tree of rings topology we present an exact algorithm with O(kn ²) time complexity.This research has been supported by NSF of China (No. 10371028) and the Educational Department grant of Zhejiang Province (No. 20030622).     

高校思想政治理论课“三进”方式方法探析——以《马克思主义基本原理概论》为例

为了让习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想“进教材、进课堂、进头脑”，需要从方式、方法层面进行分析。在深耕教材的基础上，发现2018版《马克思主义基本原理概论》教材在融入习思想时，依据不同内容主要采取了文献参考式、引入说明式、说明原理式、补充创新式、替代更新式等方法。为有效做好教材体系向教学体系转换，针对教材中对习思想融入的不同方式，可以因内容分别或组合选择活动拓展法、课前一语法、习近平话语中心式教学法、问题式教学法、案例教学法等。在转化过程中，在方法论上必须坚持马克思主义辩证法，具体问题具体分析，做到转化有法但无定法；在转化的内容和方法的关系上，必须坚持内容和方法的有机统一，从习思想和教材整体视角审视转化，处理好整体与部分的关系；在思政课的价值引领方面，必须处理好真理与价值的关系，把转化最终落脚于价值转化，使习思想真正入脑、入心。     

Improving Africa's Roads: Modelling Infrastructure Investment and Its Effect on Sectoral Production Behaviour

Given the scarce resources for public investment in developing countries, policy analysis should include a detailed perspective on the effects of infrastructure. This article develops a modelling framework for analysing the effects of improved road infrastructure on the economy of African countries. The theoretical framework is tested empirically and used for simulations in a Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model, and the effects on production and welfare are analysed. The model also serves to investigate the effect of roads on the economic participation of rural households.
