共同语和标准语——对普通话定义的思考

译文的使用目的决定了不同体裁文体的翻译应遵循不同的翻译标准。本文分析了戏剧翻译的特点,提出戏剧翻译应以功能对等为原则,以原语和译语观众能获得大体相同的反应为标准,并探讨了为达到功能对等需对译文进行调整。     

Population structure and correlation between auxiliary and target variables may affect precision of estimates in forest inventory

Simulations of forest inventory in several populations compared simple random with “quick probability proportional to size” (QPPS) sampling. The latter may be applied in the absence of a list sampling frame and/or prior measurement of the auxiliary variable. The correlation between the auxiliary and target variables required to render QPPS sampling more efficient than simple random sampling varied over the range 0.3–0.6 and was lower when sampling from populations that were skewed to the right. Two possible analytical estimators of the standard error of the estimate of the mean for QPPS sampling were found to be less reliable than bootstrapping.

民族高校普通话教学的困境及对策

作为＂四用语＂的《普通话》对于师范院校的学生来说,不仅是一门专业必修课,更是一门基础技能训练课。然而目前很多高校的普通话教学现状令人堪忧,尤其是民族高校的普通话教学存在的问题就更多。在针对教学中遇到的困难、存在的问题及背后的原因、解决的办法等方面做了大量的调查、走访、研究的基础上,提出自己的观点,供今后民族高校的普通话教学参考。     

Conditional design of the EWMA median chart with estimated parameters

The exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) chart is often designed assuming the process parameters are known. In practice, the parameters are rarely known and need to be estimated from Phase I samples. Different Phase I samples are used when practitioners construct their own control chart's limits, which leads to the “Phase I between-practitioners” variability in the in-control average run length (ARL) of control charts. The standard deviation of the ARL (SDARL) is a good alternative to quantify this variability in control charts. Based on the SDARL metric, the performance of the EWMA median chart with estimated parameters is investigated in this paper. Some recommendations are given based on the SDARL metric. The results show that the EWMA median chart requires a much larger amount of Phase I data in order to reduce the variation in the in-control ARL up to a reasonable level. Due to the limitation of the amount of the Phase I data, the suggested EWMA median chart is designed with the bootstrap method which provides a good balance between the in-control and out-of-control ARL values.

我国近现代翻译活动对现代汉语标准化的影响主要体现在词汇现代化和语法规定这两个方面,即汉语语法的西化。白话文运动的兴起是现代标准汉语产生和发展的首要推动力,而翻译则被视为一个补充性的机制。     

A new alternative to the standard F test for clustered data

The data collection process and the inherent population structure are the main causes for clustered data. The observations in a given cluster are correlated, and the magnitude of such correlation is often measured by the intra-cluster correlation coefficient. The intra-cluster correlation can lead to an inflated size of the standard F test in a linear model. In this paper, we propose a solution to this problem. Unlike previous adjustments, our method does not require estimation of the intra-class correlation, which is problematic especially when the number of clusters is small. Our simulation results show that the new method outperforms the existing methods.     

新疆维吾尔自治区死亡水平的演变规律及分布特征分析

本文根据《新疆辉煌50年》及三次人口普查数据,分析了新疆维吾尔自治区历年来死亡率、死亡人数、死亡率模式、平均预期寿命等指标的演变过程及分布特征,试图揭示新疆维吾尔自治区死亡水平的内在变动规律,为计划生育及相关政府部门制定政策提供依据。
