信息时代下高校图书馆员综合素质的研究

分析了目前高校图书馆员的素质状况，并结合现实从思想、职业道德和专业素质3个方面论述了高校图书馆员应具备的素质以及提高高校图书馆员素质的途径和方法。     

正确认识图书馆员与读者的关系

为读者服务是图书馆的历史使命，图书馆员的工作永远是为读者服务。从图书馆的建设目标阐述了读者与图书馆的关系，针对有学者提出的以“图书馆员第一”取代“读者第一”的观点进行了讨论，并认为“读者第一”的观点永远不能动摇。     

提高职业素养 构建和谐图书馆

探讨图书馆员职业素养与和谐图书馆建设的关系,并着重分析当前高校图书馆员的职业素养现状。提出高校馆员应具备的职业素养标准及提高职业素养的具体措施,从而为和谐图书馆的构建提供有力保证。     

高等农业职业教育《淡水养殖水化学》开展研究性学习的探索

国际 2 1世纪教育委员会的报告《教育———财富蕴藏其中》中提出面对未来社会的发展的 4种基本要求———学会认知、学会做事、学会共处、学会生存。这说明 ,在现代教育中 ,必须以学生发展为中心 ,开展研究性学习。我国实施的研究性学习就是改变我国传统的以教师为中心的教学模式 ,突出学生在学习中的主导地位。从贯彻素质教育的宗旨出发 ,在学科教学中渗透研究性学习 ,是培养学生综合能力的一种尝试和实践。     

In the flesh: a poetic inquiry into how fat female employees manage weight-related stigma

ABSTRACT

This paper engages with the question of how fat female employees manage weight-related stigma at work. We use poetic inquiry to show the reader how it feels for our participants to be stigmatized based on their size. We interviewed 22 women who self-identify as full-figured, fat, overweight, or obese. The results consist of six poems, five of which were written by us, the researchers. These ‘tri-voiced poems’ (Leavy 2010b) illustrate the spectrum of affective responses and stigma management strategies that our participants talked about, ranging from feeling anxious, super-smart, impeccable, and funny to rebellious and confident. The sixth poem was written by one of our participants and voices her first-person experiences and perspective. Our aim is to do justice in our writing to the emotions that circulated in the interviews and to make a political statement with regards to the stigmatizing practices in organizations related to size and health.     

Developing a multi-level organization-public dialogic communication framework to assess social media-mediated disaster communication and engagement outcomes

Dialogic communication has long been viewed as vital for effective organization-public relations. Yet, it is under-theorized whether and how organizations’ disaster communication messages may embody dialogic communication principles, and how various dialogic features are associated with different public engagement outcomes on social media. Extending the Organization-Public Dialogic Communication (OPDC) framework to the context of social media-mediated disaster communication, we propose a multi-level framework to assess the dialogic capacity of Facebook messages sent by disaster management organizations during a natural disaster. Three levels of dialogic communication characteristics (i.e., message structure-level, topic-level, and linguistic level) are examined using content analysis and Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count (LIWC). Results identified media richness, correcting, and confirming topics as three consistent predictors of public engagement of all types. Meanwhile, there exhibit greater variations regarding how other topical features and linguistic characteristics are related to public’s cognitive, emotional, and behavioral engagement during a disaster.     

Undercover policing and the spectre of ‘domestic extremism’: the covert surveillance of environmental activism in Britain

The spectre of environmental ‘domestic extremism’ has long been postulated by police leaders and security analysts in Britain. It is a narrative that has justified the commitment of enormous amounts of government resources towards police intelligence work directed at non-violent direct action campaigns. Most controversially, this has included the long-term infiltration of environmental (and other) activist groups by undercover police. This article provides a critical analysis of the justifications put forward in support of the covert surveillance of environmental activists in Britain. The paper proceeds by way of a single case study – a high profile, environmental direct action protest in the north of England – in order to reveal the levels of abuse, manipulation and deception at the basis of undercover protest policing. Through their court case, the activists involved with this action were able to obtain rare insights into the police authorisation documents for the undercover operation that had led to their arrests. An analysis of these documents provides us with a glimpse of the contradictory justifications given by senior police officers for infiltration – now under scrutiny by a public inquiry.     

探究式教学模式在排球教学中的应用研究

运用实验法、文献资料法、问卷调查法等研究方法,以东北师范大学2010级体育学院体育教育专业的60名学生为研究对象,通过构建探究式教学模块对研究对象进行传统的排球教学和探究式排球教学。结果表明:探究式教学方法可以广泛应用于排球教学中;探究式教学法和传统的排球教学法相比,可以取得更好的教学效果,提高学生的专项运动成绩,激发学生的学习兴趣并且改变学生学习态度。     

基于实证调查的街旁绿地价值研究——以舟山浦西公园为例

街旁绿地是城镇空间中可供民众游憩、观赏、健身、幽会的边角小空地,由于其微小且零散依附于主要建筑环境与交通流线之间,极易被忽略、侵蚀或转换成其他商用价值较大的功能空间。通过实地踏勘、观察体验、问卷调查及专题访谈等综合实证调查,分析总结民众对舟山浦西街边绿地公园的使用现状及期望,提出街旁绿地景观环境的优化策略,以期创造一个民众喜爱的城镇景观生态不可或缺的人性化场所,为城镇设计提供借鉴。
