鉴于词汇教学在整个外语教学中的重要性及目前外语词汇教学所面临的问题,创建系统性外语词汇教学模式,并与计算机网络技术的应用相结合,来促进教师的外语词汇教学,进而提高学生的词汇学习效率。系统性外语词汇教学模式涉及三个主要教学阶段:课前预习、课堂教学和课后复习,而这三个教学阶段将与一系列新设计的词汇认知过程进行有机的结合。同时,还将尝试通过计算机网络技术的应用来优化新创建的系统性外语词汇教学模式。教师可以利用计算机网络技术为学生提供丰富的学习资源,并帮助他们充分运用各种词汇学习策略,从而调动学生对重点词汇学习的兴趣,进而提升教学效果。  相似文献

焦虑是影响语言学习的重要情感因素之一,本研究考查了中国非英语专业大学生的外语听力焦虑情况,以及听力焦虑对听力水平的影响作用。结果显示由英语听力焦虑、自我信念和英语听力技能三因子组成的听力焦虑在大学生中普遍存在,其中总体焦虑水平、自我信念及听力技能达到高焦虑水平;高、低焦虑水平的受试组在听力成绩上均呈现出显著差异,焦虑三因子及总体听力焦虑都与听力水平呈现不同程度的显著负相关;受试对听力水平及整体语言能力的自我评价都对听力焦虑产生了显著负面效应。文章最后对听力教学提出了相关建议。  相似文献

This paper develops the concept of “targeted education,” a theoretical ranking of college curricula, into a multidimensional framework. The new scales, based on the traditional stratification dimensions, prestige, authority, and income, are then used in a study of sex differences in the process of occupational achievement among men and women with college degrees. The targeted education scales predict occupational prestige and wages 7 years after the college degree, and they point out interesting differences between male and female attainment processes. In general, targeted education has a greater quantitative impact for men's occupational outcomes than for women's prestige and income, but results also suggest significant qualitative differences between men and women. A large proportion of women target their education toward, and end up in, an under-employed labor pool for the primary and secondary school system.  相似文献

This paper reports the results of a needs assessment study conducted by a university-based alcohol abuse prevention project. Data are presented on the drinking patterns and drinking problems of a random sample of 462 students. Results suggest that students are experiencing numerous difficulties in the physical, educational, legal and psychosocial areas due to their use of alcoholic beverages. Implications for prevention and intervention programming are discussed and the need for planning programs from a data-based perspective rather than a rational and intuitive approach is stressed.  相似文献

The study surveyed 506 employees in the United States to test the effect of internal communication (i.e., corporate-level symmetrical and leadership-level responsive communications) on fostering a positive emotional culture characterized by companionate love, joy, pride, and gratitude. In addition, we tested the interplay between corporate internal communication and a positive emotional culture and its influence on supportive employee behaviors, specifically, organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and employee advocacy. Results indicated that symmetrical communication and responsive leadership communication cultivated a positive emotional culture in organizations. Such culture also fostered employee OCB and advocacy. Moreover, corporate symmetrical communication directly and positively influenced employee OCB. Finally, this study found that employee OCB positively affected employee advocacy. The theoretical and practical implications of the findings for public relations scholars and practitioners were discussed.  相似文献

A field study of techniques for involving local citizens in the evaluation of Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) services shows that lay citizens can make recommendations that service agencies will use to improve services. Seventeen citizen groups received evaluation information from participating CMHCs and developed 310 recommendations. Seventy-one percent of these suggestions were used by the CMHCs. Staff and governing board attitudes, fiscal pressures, and other organizational characteristics affected the success of the citizen groups.  相似文献

This paper seeks to discover whether the known inaccuracy of informant recall about their communication behavior can be accounted for by experimentally varying the time period over which recall takes place. The experiment took advantage of a new communications medium (computer conferencing) which enabled us to monitor automatically all the interactions involving a subset of the computer network. The experiment itself was administered entirely by the computer, which interviewed informants and recorded their responses. Variations in time period failed to account for much of the inaccuracy, which continues, as in previous experiments at an unacceptably high level. One positive finding did emerge: although the informants did not know with whom they communicated, the informants en masse seemed to know certain broad facts about the communication pattern. All other findings were negative. For example, it is impossible to predict the people an informant claimed to communicate with but did not; and it is impossible to predict who the five people are that an informant forgot to mention that she or he had communication with. Thus, despite their presumed good intentions, our findings here confirm what we have learned from six previous experiments: What people say about their communications bears no resemblance to their behavior. This suggests that other forms of data gathering, based on questions which require that informants recall their behavior, may well be suspect.  相似文献

外语语法的结果教学以形式为中心,强调对学习者语言产出的谨慎控制;外语语法的过程教学以意义为中心,重视学习者创造性的语言使用。虽然从交际语言教学趋势看,过程教学目前更受人们欢迎,但是由于学习对象、学习目的、学习者个性因素以及教学环境的不同,结果教学与过程教学在不同的局部表现出各自的优势。本文认为,外语语法教学应做到结果与过程的整合  相似文献
