后现代主义小说的文本策略及其转向

后现代主义小说在诗学形态上具有显而易见的复杂性,可划分为后现代主义实验小说和通俗小说两大类.后现代主义小说对于抄袭等互文法的想象性使用,对于体裁界限的混合和模糊,对于多重文本和结尾的设计,对于异色和暴力的美化和风格化等,在读者面前形成文学上不可理解的斯芬克斯之谜.但随着后现代主义小说创造力的日趋衰竭,其被普遍采用和模仿的形式和技巧,已经或即将变成新的规范和僵化模式,文学期待着后现代主义颠覆之后的转向与重建.     

网络文学研究的学科间性

20世纪90年代以来,中国的网络文学研究在文学与网络、泛文化与纯文学等研究语境的争论中漂移无根。本文综述了当下网络文学研究的定位,认为网络文学研究应该避开纯文学之争,在学科间性中研究其文学和文化因素。     

‘The Rule of Men Entirely Great’: Republicanism,Ritual, and Richelieu in Melville’s ‘The Two Temples’

Abstract

This article explores the complex and multifarious reasons behind Herman Melville’s decision to refer to the English playwright Edward Bulwer-Lytton’s 1839 work Richelieu, or The Conspiracy in his 1854 diptych ‘The Two Temples’. It responds to a critical consensus that has seen the reference merely as a sarcastic attack on William Macready (whose rivalry with the American actor Edwin Forrest was the nominal cause of the bloody 1849 Astor Place Riot in New York), by contextualizing the play within traditions of antebellum American Anglophilia. By using a combination of new critical work on Anglo-Americanism and anthropological ritual theory, I show how Bulwer-Lytton’s play was significant to Melville’s artistic development. In particular, I demonstrate how the play influenced his increasing engagement with republican and theatrical forms of expression that emphasized the importance of filial relationships between America and Britain in a period of increasing hostility between the two nations.     

War and peace on the land: An analysis of the symbolism of organic farming

This paper examines the role of the theatre metaphor in both resolving and aggravating the tensions inherent in managing the modern zoo. As the mission of zoos has evolved from the point of view of management, from a “stamp collection” approach, through habitat design and education, to the breeding and preservation of endangered species, perceptions of the general public and more importantly, the municipal departments to which zoo directors report, have not kept up. This has resulted in a tension between inner mission and self-presentation, between marketing/fundraising activities and the animal management activities which shape the day to day work and future plans of zoo workers. This paper examines one case in particular . . . that of the Northern City Zoo, in Canada. It explores the significance of using organizational metaphor to explicitly manage diversity and transition. In particular it discusses the role of theatre metaphors as simultaneously signalling conflict within the organization and providing a “liminal” period for transformation.     

开拓性的史观与史识——评范伯群《插图本中国现代通俗文学史》的史学价值

范伯群的新著<插图本中国现代通俗文学史>是按照历史推进的线索和通俗文学发展的周期来建构现代通俗文学史的科学体系的.作者通过图文结合的方式,从中国现代通俗小说的萌发一直写到20世纪40年代雅俗融合的新市民小说,把通俗文学的发展轨迹系统地梳理出来,清晰地勾勒出中国现代通俗文学的流变过程.作者指出知识精英作家是借鉴革新派,通俗文学作家是继承改良派,认为中国文学的现代化的萌芽与小说转型的任务主要是由通俗文学来承担的,并提出了"都市乡土小说"的概念.

语言变异是一种普遍存在的社会语言现象。流行语中有相当一部分是通过语义的变异而产生的。流行语语义变异的特点主要表现为:语义映射、语义别解和语义模糊等。     

关于俗词的界定考论

关于俗词的界定,乃是开展俗词研究的重要前提。而当代学者对俗词的界定异见迭出,观点分歧,至今尚无定论。对此,我们力求在全面考察古代文论特别是词学批评中的雅俗之辨,认真总结历代学者有关词之雅俗的诸多评论,切实依据唐宋民间俗词特别是敦煌曲子词的文本内容,结合观照唐宋文人俗词的创作实际,然后从语言特征、表达方式以及题材取向等方面,为俗词确立一个比较恰当中肯的定义,以廓清目前学术界对俗词界定或者过窄、或者过宽、或者含糊不清的流弊,面对千年词史的雅俗之辨这一问题试图作出一个较为合理的回答。     

Social work and applied theatre: creative experiences with a group of homeless people in the city of Seville

This article presents a series of creative social intervention experiences developed with a group of homeless people in the Spanish city of Seville. These experiences are part of an applied research project that uses theatre as a tool to aid social work, and they are led by a group of homeless people who have become actors through this initiative. The group is known as ‘Theatre of Inclusion’ and has been running for a decade now. Using group social work and applied theatre techniques, this initiative creatively exposes the needs of this collective and also generates spaces in which they can reclaim their dignity. The systematisation of these experiences highlights the potential of combining disciplines such as social work and theatre to work with vulnerable collectives, in the same way Jane Addams did. The aim is also to move beyond the dominant welfare proposals in place in Spain currently, which are intended to meet the needs of homeless people.

大众文化是一种新兴知识分子文化观念之产物,它充分地体现了大众的文化创造精神,是文化发展从自在到自觉的转变,鼓励大众的文化创造精神,利用大众文化形式是马克思主义文化观发展的必由之路,也是构建社会主义核心价值体系的重要形式。
