挪威学者易德波教授多年、多次到中国江苏扬州，田野调查“扬州评话”。运用西方多种学科、多种方法对中国曲艺之一的扬州评话进行研究。     

从子弟书看清代旗人官吏的日常工作

子弟书是清代雍正、乾隆时期北京的八旗子弟们创立的一种曲艺艺术,以作者、表演者、听众都是八旗子弟而得名。子弟书中有很多篇章记录了清代中后期旗人官吏的日常工作。结合清史可以从中了解清代侍卫如何站岗、值班、参加礼仪庆典;也可以还原当时文职京官的工作细节,包括如何主持祭祀、管理皇家马轿以及处理政府公文。     

Towards a theory of organizational storytelling for public relations: An engagement perspective

In this paper, organizational storytelling is defined as planned communication by. organizations that deliberately uses specific forms of content and delivery behavior to. engage audiences (both internal to the organization and outside it) cognitively and. affectively primarily for the achievement of organizational goals and objectives. But. there is little in the literature to show how organizational storytelling fits into the. theoretical lexicon of public relations; or to guide practitioners in how to adapt. storytelling to suit organizational purposes. There is even less discussion from either. perspective on how public relations can contribute to organizational storytelling. Stories are often described as being engaging, but little has been written to explain. why this is. Extant research tends to focus on the significance of engaging of. audiences with stories, rather than understanding how stories engage. This paper. adopts an engagement perspective on storytelling in general to identify the cognitive,. affective, and behavioral aspects of its elements (characters, plots etc.). The same lens. is then applied to organizational stories and shows how they use the elements of. engagement to convey organizational key messages. The paper also highlights. differences between storytelling and organizational storytelling. These findings are. incorporated into a checklist for practitioners to help them identify, create, critique, and. improve organizational storytelling in their work. In addition, the paper suggests ways. in which public relations can bring its uniquely relational perspective to contribute to. organizational storytelling by empowering stakeholder storytelling to organizations and. listening by organizations.     

The Thread That Binds: Building on the Stories of Adolescent English Language Learners in Mainstream Social Studies Classrooms

This article draws on current research in the areas of storytelling and social studies to present a practical, culturally responsive storytelling model for Grades 7–9 social studies teachers to use to better engage English Language Learners (ELLs). Integrating the proven effectiveness of storytelling from a scientific and social perspective, with common themes explored in a typical social studies classroom, this model provides teachers with a concrete strategy to weave the rich, personal stories of ELLs into their classrooms. Based on a holistic understanding of storytelling, this model serves as a way for teachers to supplement traditional teaching methods used in the social studies classroom with personal stories shared by students, teachers, and experts during the introduction of key concepts. Future research potential exists to examine the effectiveness of this model if put into practice.     

厅堂说唱与汉乐府艺术特质探析——兼论古代文学传播方式对文本的制约和影响

从汉画像石和有关文献材料分析来看,厅堂说唱是汉乐府重要的传播方式,这导致了诗歌由抒情言志向娱宾乐主功能的转化。汉乐府的叙事再现性、戏剧表演性以及世俗生活化正与此有直接关系。对不同时代不同文体和文学样式特有传播方式的考察,也应该是古代文学研究的课题。

本文从文体发展的角度,探讨说话的艺术特征及其对于话本小说的文体影响.说话有四个艺术特征1.游戏性质;2.寓教于乐;3.故事性;4.叙事性.此指讲故事的一整套原则和技巧.在说话向话本小说的转变中,说话艺术所具有的上述四个特征被原则性地移植到话本小说中,从而既促进了话本小说的产生发展,也给话本小说的发展带来了某种先天的局限性.     

Overcoming Future Professionals’ Fear of Digital Storytelling

ABSTRACT

Digital storytelling assessments at university can develop emerging human service and social workers’ skills in contemporary social media production and related advocacy. Despite growing interest in digital storytelling in these disciplines, there is little support for developing the technical sides of the practice. This article shares key learnings from an Australian teaching and learning project used to develop a digital storytelling module for social work and human services students at university who are not filmmakers. Students across a range of courses undertook digital storytelling assessments using the module. A key finding was that students still experienced considerable fear but were able to turn that into significant personal and professional development. This article explores these and other key learnings from the project and offers tips for others wishing to implement digital storytelling.

IMPLICATIONS

• Emerging social work and human services professionals studying at university often exhibit fear and resistance to new tasks such as digital storytelling. Such students need to be supported to navigate that discomfort to achieve learning.

• Students can be supported using online modules that support the technical and creative sides of digital storytelling.

• This project found that students were able to develop confidence and skills in digital storytelling after completing this module and assignment.

     

略论苏州评弹理论的既往研究

苏州评弹是江南民间文化艺术的奇葩,国家级口头与非物质文化遗产代表作,有着悠久的历史文化渊源和成熟的表演艺术体系。与苏州评弹生存、繁衍、发展关联极为密切的评弹理论研究,也经历了漫漫历史岁月的演进,并取得了十分丰硕的成果。而回顾、梳理和总结迄今为止的评弹理论成就,对未来评弹艺术的保护、传承、发展意义重大,并会对未来评弹理论研究和评弹学的建构产生深远影响。     

Sexuality and the city: exploring the experience of minority sexual identity through storytelling

This article explores the discursive construction of sexual identity through organizational storytelling, in the London office of a global investment bank, InvestCo. Work on the identity of sexual minorities in work organizations is rare, and even more so in the context of an institution such as a bank. Minority sexual identities have largely been ignored by the organizational studies and diversity literatures, but organizations and the researchers who study them, are starting to turn their attention to this previously silenced population. A major difficulty for researchers in this area, and one which has been well researched and documented in other areas of identity construction, is how to access and research this area. This article puts forward the idea that storytelling is an effective way of exploring this still sensitive topic. The results of the research are presented according to different ways in which minority sexual identity is constructed in organizations. This includes a discussion of social identities, displayed and hidden identities, changing identities, accepted and castigated identities and finally congruent and incongruent identities. The article also identifies themes which emerge from the stories about the stories themselves; themes of hidden identities, mistakes, victimhood and resistance. Although of relevance to those interested in the experience of sexual minorities in organizations, the storytelling discursive approach opens up the subject's experiences to a wider audience interested in diversity, discourse theory, ethnography and organizational life in general. The level of access is unusual and the double level story telling research approach could be of use in other areas.     

Use of a Modified Chaining Procedure with Textual Prompts to Establish Intraverbal Storytelling

Echoic, tact, and textual transfer procedures have been proven successful in establishing simple intraverbals (Braam and Poling Applied Research in Mental Retardation, 4, 279–302, 1983; Luciano Applied Research in Mental Retardation, 102, 346–357, 1986; Watkins et al. The Analysis of Verbal Behavior, 7, 69–81, 1989). However, these strategies may be ineffective for some children due to the complexity of the targeted intraverbals. The current study investigated the use of a novel procedure which included a modified chaining procedure and textual prompts to establish intraverbal behavior in the form of telling short stories. Visual prompts and rule statements were used with some of the participants in order to produce the desired behavior change. Results indicated that the procedure was effective for teaching retelling of short stories in three children with autism.
