华文夏令营对华裔新生代中华文化认同的影响及思考

华文夏令营通过提供文化知识和中国阅历来影响和增强华裔新生代的中华文化认识、认知、认同,从而增强其与中国的向心力和凝聚力,并能够在世界舆论场中对所在国受众更好地讲述中国故事。华文夏令营在实际运作中的确起到了增强华裔新生代中华文化认同的作用。因此,应该正视夏令营举办中的不足,总结经验,改进创办模式,通过运用新媒体和新技术手段保持与华裔新生代的长期联系,巩固华裔新生代对中华文化的认同。     

The Impact of the Therapist's Curiosity on the Treatment Process of Children and Adolescents

Therapists bring their own initiative, interest, and wonder—their professional curiosity—into treatment sessions. Some children and adolescents pull away in reaction to this curiosity, bristling or withdrawing, if only for a moment. This can happen abruptly, even in response to the first hello, but most often it occurs subtly, over the course of treatment. These children and adolescents may be replaying the ruptures in relationships they experienced when they have expressed their own initiative and curiosity to important others in their lives. Therapists need to utilize opportunities to understand the dynamics, explore where the original ruptures may have occurred, and bring the experience into therapeutic focus. Case vignettes illustrate these dynamics.     

“Still Raped Over Here”: Gay Male Femininity and the Rewards of Camp Ambivalence in Richard Day’s Girls Will Be Girls

ABSTRACT

Girls Will Be Girls (GWBG) delivers a substantive queer-feminist critique of heteronormative animus toward women and gay men through jokes that weaponize that animus for insurgent purposes. The film’s rape and abortion jokes showcase the provocative notion that negative representations of femininity might be wielded strategically and, in fact, more resonantly because they resist recuperation by marginalizing normative hierarchies. GBWG’s enactment of gay male femininity deploys queer dissidence by ameliorating pain through mockery while emphasizing the costs of heteronormative and patriarchal inflictions. This essay offers a test case for a queer feminist politics—one that, without discarding the imperatives for and rewards of more materially grounded political work, mines the critical as well as affective affordances of rage, mockery, and indignity against heteronormativity’s arbitrary but still formidable injunctions. A queer feminist reading of camp denaturalizes heteronormativity with a potency that queer theory and feminist theory might harness yet more effectually in less divided collaboration.

This paper is primarily concerned with examining how the current re‐emergence of psychosocial theory, mainly emanating from sociology, is useful for informing social work theory. Firstly it considers two extended examples of the limitations and/or contradictions in current theory for social work (that of linguistic determinism and postmodern versions of identity), and suggests how psychosocial theory offers ways forward for understanding and practice. The paper then considers two particular strengths in psychosocial theory: the ability to offer a ‘rich’ conceptualisation of the subject, and the equalising of worker and service user implicit in the theory. A further section looks briefly at the recent application of psychodynamic principles in social work practice, as ‘relationship‐based practice’. It then briefly considers some further implications for research and ‘evidence’ for social work. The paper's final section offers a discussion of two potential limitations in applying psychosocial theory in practice, before concluding that overall psychosocial theory is both productive, useful and appropriate for social work.     

Hidden Eating Disorders: Attachment and Affect Regulation in the Therapeutic Relationship

From the time I began working at a clinic that specialized in therapy with individuals with eating disorders, I have repeatedly encountered cases of clients hiding these symptoms from their therapists. When they finally do reveal the disorder, their therapists often worry that their clients are more disturbed than they thought and that, they, the therapists, did something wrong in the therapy. Although some therapeutic rupture can be part of the picture, I have found that these disclosures often reflect a client’s growing trust in the therapist’s presence and ability to help with feelings that have been, until now, dealt with through the eating behaviors themselves. In my attempts to understand what happens before and after an individual shares a hidden eating disorder with a therapist, I have found ideas from attachment theory, in particular those that explore links between attachment, affect regulation, and self-reflection, to be very helpful. Many authors have noted that eating disorders are related to problems with attachment, loss and separation, and affect regulation. Difficulties in these areas make it hard for clients to be self-reflective or use insight productively. In this article, I discuss my experience with the integration of these dynamics, which I have found to be key to successful psychotherapy with clients who hide their eating disorders.

治疗性小组对患者的心理社会干预模式研究

本文旨在讨论治疗性小组工作对病人心理干预方面的作用及意义,初步建立其在患者心理干预中的有效模式。本研究认为患者在患病及康复过程中,对于治疗性小组有潜在的需求,设计合理、运用恰当的治疗性小组对于患者的心理干预能产生积极的影响。     

论20年代醒狮派的文化保守主义

第一次世界大战后欧洲思想界"东方文化救世论"的流行,是促使醒狮派成为文化保守主义者的主要原因;新文化运动对传统文化的猛烈批判,是刺激醒狮派成为文化保守主义者的直接原因。在醒狮派看来,"传统"并不是一个绝对同质的、不可分割的整体,西化论全盘反传统的观点是不可理解的。醒狮派虽然接受西方现代性,但这种接受是以中国传统文化为主体的融合。醒狮派指出了西方近代文化的内在缺陷,并据此对中国传统文化的近代意义做出了合理的阐释,西化论对西方近代文化的被动承受是不能赞同的。总的来说,醒狮派对西方现代性持一种欲迎还拒的复杂心态。这种复杂心态是近代中国文化保守主义者所普遍具有的。     

评中法战争中的唐景崧

唐景崧在中法战争中，其活动贯穿整个中法战争全过程。在黑旗军营中，对黑旗军的抗法斗争起到了一定的推动作用，使黑旗军由一度消极抗法转变为积极抗法；在徐延旭幕中，北宁失守后，粤军一片混乱，由于他总理粤军军务，多方面整顿，独撑残局；景字营成立后，他亲自率军独当一面，宣光攻坚战他是实际上的组织者和指挥者。他为抗法援越、捍卫祖国西南边疆作出了贡献，不愧为中法战争中的爱国将领之一。     

美国夏令营的交互式小组工作模式研究——以纽约州A营地为例

本文研究对象为美国一所历史最悠久的夏令营,通过历时11周的跨文化行动研究,分析了夏令营中的小组结构,并对传统营运用的交互式小组工作模式进行了系统的过程分析。从组员与小组的关系、组员个人成长、小组结构、小组工作者与机构特征四方面,阐述了夏令营交互式小组工作模式的适用性;同时从儿童青少年参与及充权、工作者与儿童青少年共同成长、民间儿童青少年机构可持续发展三个角度探讨了发展中国夏令营交互式小组工作模式的本土化路径。     

What’s the Relationship Got to do with It? Understanding the Therapeutic Relationship in Therapeutic Foster Care

The therapeutic relationship is increasingly recognized as important to understanding how process variables contribute to treatment outcomes. In this paper, we examine the therapeutic relationship between children with serious emotional and behavioral disorders and their treatment providers in the context of an observational study of Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC). Our findings suggest that the quality of the relationship between the treatment parent and youth in a TFC setting is significantly associated with better emotional and behavioral functioning for the youth. It appears from these findings that the quality of the relationship between the youth and treatment parent in a TFC setting is at least one of the mechanism or process factors that contribute to improved functioning for the youth.
