日本漫画翻译技法初探——以特殊表记为中心

如所周知，特殊表记如今已经成为漫画不可或缺的部分。在创作漫画时加入英文表记和外来语表记能够丰富故事内容，使人物形象更为丰满，同时适当使用这些表记能够使漫画更加贴近年轻受众群体。但是在实际翻译漫画时，这些特殊的表记却极易被漫画的译者所忽视。通过从人物对白、特殊用语以及人名三方面入手，从实用角度结合具体案例探讨了日本漫画中英文表记、外来语表记的处理策略，认为应根据特殊表记出现的位置及作用来具体选择翻译方式，不应一概而论。

Media and Popular Culture Representations of LGBT Bullying

This article critically reviews diverse representations of bullying of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people in contemporary media: cinema, television, journals, Web sites, fiction, children's books, comics, music, advertising, and pornography.     

Braided geographies: bordered forms and cross-border formations in refugee comics

ABSTRACT

This article offers a close analysis of a trilogy of ‘refugee comics’ entitled ‘A Perilous Journey’, which were produced in 2015 by the non-profit organisation PositiveNegatives, to conceive of comics as a bordered form able to establish alternative cross-border formations, or ‘counter-geographies’, as it calls them. Drawing on the work of Martina Tazzioloi, Thierry Groensteen, Jason Dittmer, Michael Rothberg and others, the article argues that it is by building braided, multi-directional relationships between different geographic spaces, both past and present, that refugee comics realise a set of counter-geographic and potentially decolonising imaginaries. Through their spatial form, refugee comics disassemble geographic space to reveal counter-geographies of multiple synchronic and diachronic relations and coformations, as these occur between different regions and locations, and as they accumulate through complex aggregations of traumatic and other affective memories. The article contends that we need an interdisciplinary combination of the critical reading skills of humanities scholars and the rigorous anthropological, sociological and theoretical work of the social sciences to make sense of the visualisation of these counter-geographic movements in comics. It concludes by showing how the counter-geographies visualised by refugee comics can subvert the geopolitical landscape of discrete nation-states and their territorially bound imagined communities.     

Cartoons and AIDS: Safer Sex,HIV, and AIDS in Ralf König's Comics

Ralf König is the best-selling author of comic book novels, and his stories of gay men coming to terms with contemporary society have resonated with hundreds of thousands of German readers and film-goers. König's characters, like the author himself, have great difficulty adhering to the demand that condoms be used. The article describes how König develops this theme through a variety of works from 1985 through 1999, and analyzes the intertwined relationships among the author, his characters, and the society that is both portrayed in his works and that reads his works.     

厦门动漫文化中心建设及产业发展建议

现今,厦门动漫文化产业处于初级阶段,产业链中的每个环节都存在一定的问题。根据当前厦门市动漫文化中心建设及产业发展现状,提出了几点建议：动漫人才的培养,除鼓励和支持学校培养外,采用＂引进来,走出去＂方法,完善师资力量;在动漫文化中心建设方面,以原创的视觉形象为基础,打造原创产品、营造动漫环境,逐步完成动漫文化创意产业园的建设;在动漫产业链的打造过程中,需注重资本力——融资问题、市场推广力、政府扶持力与产权保护力等方面;在动漫产业与本土文化的结合上,要将本土文化融入动漫产业链的每个环节中,以中国特色吸引更多的市场注意力。     

Superheroes and third-wave feminism

Recent developments in superhero comics have seen positive changes to the representation of characters and storylines. In this article, we use examples of the increase in female characters and female-led titles, the swapping of gender from a male character to a female one, and the increase in female writers and artists to investigate how the representation of female characters has evolved. We argue that these changes mark an intervention on behalf of female creators in keeping with the theory and practice of third-wave feminism. We also argue that this evolution provides a good example of how third-wave feminism remains indebted to and continues the important work of second-wave feminism. The article explores the important role of intersectionality alongside themes relating to the body and sexuality, violence, solidarity and equality, and girlhood in comics such as Birds of Prey, Harley Quinn, Ms. Marvel, Captain Marvel, and A-Force.     

“中国龙”漫画的多模态话语分析及身份构建

20世纪90年代兴起的多模态话语分析在研究语言的基础上,把图像、颜色、声音和动作等其他意义表现形式也纳入话语分析。本文以Kress&van Leeuwen提出的视觉图像分析的语法框架为理论依据,对"中国龙"漫画进行多模态分析,从而说明漫画的多模态解读对正确理解漫画意义和身份构建方面不可忽视的作用,以期提高读者的多模态识读能力。

近年来,国内外学者虽然开始关注漫画语篇中的多模态话语分析,但大多是从元功能的再现功能、互动功能和构成功能三大方面进行较宏观的大致分析,对漫画话语的再现功能意义解读得不够详尽,另一方面,也多以政治漫画为分析对象,较少探讨其他漫画的多模态意义。因此,本文选取《PHD漫画》中的一幅例图为分析对象,从多模态话语分析的再现功能角度,较详细地解读该漫画的再现意义,以期促进漫画语篇的多模态话语分析的应用研究。     

动漫生产的民族化与国际化问题的再思考

从艺术学本体出发,对国内动漫进行审视与反思,通过实例列举、比较研究、回顾历史等方法,发掘问题,并提出国内动漫如何在民族化与国际化问题上进一步结合的具体观点.要实现这个目标,远非改造动漫创作的外部环境那么简单.首先要改变的,是所有动漫人的观念态度:即应当首先将其视为艺术创作而非商业制作,要使作为审美对象的动漫作品体现出其根本性的价值———即满足人们内心的审美需求.
