Multicultural perspectives on counseling survivors of rape

The dominant Euro-American culture is a rape-prone culture, as defined by Sanday. Within that culture, rape is both a tool and a consequence of interlocking systems of oppression based on race, ethnicity, class, and sexual orientation. The impact of rape on an individual survivor can only be fully understood in the context of the survivor's own culture, religious beliefs, and experience as an immigrant or refugee. Issues of race, culture, class, and sexual orientation influence every step in the counseling of a rape survivor. Knowledge about the client's culture is essential if accurate assessment and culturally appropriate service are to be provided. Specific examples of the impact of these issues are presented. Ways in which the cultural values implicit in the crisis counseling model may conflict with the client's values and needs are examined.     

哀伤辅导视角下儿童丧亲主题绘本的疗愈效用——基于对9本绘本的叙事分析

为探究儿童丧亲主题绘本的疗愈效用,以哀伤辅导理论为指导框架对《小伤疤》等9本丧亲主题绘本进行叙事分析。研究发现,丧亲主题绘本多数都构建了完整的哀伤历程,分为5个阶段：“故事开端：叙述过去映射正向情感联结;第一次转折：以委婉言语表达死亡事实;情绪高潮：主人公强烈宣泄负面情绪;第二次转折：寻求超越死亡的生命意义;故事结尾：与过去挥手告别开启新生活。”但仍存在一些不足之处可以优化。例如,绘本创作要直面亲人死亡的生物性事实,建构亲人“永生”的现实意义,结合中国本土文化进行创新。作为家长及教育工作者,要关注丧亲儿童的心理健康,灵活运用绘本对儿童进行死亡教育,帮助丧亲儿童走出哀伤。     

A Study of Clinical Change in Individual Career Counseling

This study examined the clinical significance of career counseling effects. Participants were 111 university students (83% women) who participated in individual career counseling sessions at their university. All participants completed the French version of the Outcome Questionnaire–30.2 (OQ‐30.2; Lambert, Finch, Okiishi, & Burlingame, 2005) immediately before the 1st session (pretest) and at the beginning of the last session (posttest). The OQ‐30.2 assesses 3 client life domains: subjective discomfort, problems in interpersonal relationships, and problems in social role satisfaction. Using Jacobson and Truax’s (1991) statistical approach to assessing clinical change, the authors compared clients’ pretest OQ‐30.2 scores with their posttest scores. Among clients with a “dysfunctional” score (n = 59) at the study’s inception, 34% recovered and 14% improved, whereas 41% of clients with functional scores (n = 52) at the study’s inception improved. The results suggest that individual career counseling can make a difference in the lives of many clients; they also highlight the importance of further outcome research that accounts for possible variability in clients’ responses to career counseling.

心理剧在大学生朋辈辅导中的应用探究

大学生朋辈辅导作为一种学生自助式的心理健康教育模式,逐渐受到越来越多国内高校的重视。一些高校结合自己的实际情况,大力提倡并积极鼓励和支持大学生朋辈辅导,使其成为大学生心理健康教育的重要补充。然而,由于缺乏朋辈辅导的创新,大学生朋辈辅导在国内的发展相对缓慢。心理剧作为团体心理辅导的一种重要方式,可以使参与者在不知不觉间获得心理帮助,促进其成长。应用心理剧的方式开展大学生朋辈辅导,是对朋辈辅导的创新,也是对大学生心理健康教育方式的拓展。     

高校学生心理辅导存在的不足及应采取的对策

当前,大学生中心理问题日趋增多,这些问题的存在对大学生的成才及适应社会都是不利的.因此心理辅导工作开始越来越受到高校的重视,但与西方心理辅导工作相比还存在很大的差距,还没有形成一套系统的、完整的工作方法.因此,高校在今后应重视这顶工作的开展,确立学生辅导在高校中的地位.同时要努力创建符合自身特色的辅导模式,使心理辅导真正发挥应有的作用.

目前心理咨询与治疗发展迅猛,以认知一行为疗法为核心的理论整合是发展的总趋向;多元文化主义已成为影响心理学的第四势力;简短治疗因其省时省力、具有成本效益的优点在国外迅速崛起;同时随着危机发生率的增加,心理咨询与心理治疗在任务上加强了对心理危机干预、积极心理品质培养的重视;更加重视价值观和信仰在维护个体心理健康中的作用。文章主要阐述了这5个方面的形成原因与具体内容,旨在为我国的相关研究与实践提供参考。

论高校心理咨询与思想政治工作的关系

心理咨询与思想政治工作是一对既有密切联系 ,又有实质性不同的范畴 ,二者绝不能混为一谈或互相取代。要充分利用二者的内容、方法、形式上的相互重叠和相互补充 ,在保障心理健康的基础上 ,取得学生教育和管理的更大成效
