Bullying in children and adolescents: a healthcare perspective

Abstract

Bullying is a well-known problem among children, adolescents and young adults in USA. It has been associated with subsequent development of violent behaviors. In this article we are reviewing the medical and clinical aspects of bullying in children and adolescents, as well as providing recommendations to minimize its impact.
