论幸福视界下的中国传统生活方式

中国传统生活方式与传统文化的本质规定性紧密相连,是传统文化的载体或表现。这种生活方式是在传统文化的幸福思想、幸福理念的指导下,能够使人们较好地遵循幸福原则去追求和获得幸福,从而内在地具有幸福功能。无论是传统的劳动与交往生活方式、消费生活方式,还是闲暇生活方式,抑或是精神生活方式,都合乎并体现出幸福的和谐性、共享性、简单性、适度性、精神性等本质特征。因此,中国传统生活方式本质上就是一种幸福生活方式。我们应该用辩证的眼光,从中萃取一种有益于现代人身心健康发展的生活理念和精神元素,继承和发扬优良的传统生活方式。     

Back to Brit: retired British migrants returning from Spain

Since the seminal research of O'Reilly, Karen [2000. The British on the Costa del Sol. London: Routledge] and King, Russell, Anthony Warnes, Allan Williams [2000. Sunset Lives: British Retirement Migration to the Mediterranean. New York: Berg Publishers] about British citizens on the Costa del Sol there has been a surge in the publication of lifestyle migration papers, books and research. Nonetheless, there is a part of the lifestyle migration process that has been rarely explored: a return move to the country of origin following retirement migration. Research has indicated a broad increase in the number of older British returnees, yet there has been no substantive research on the topic. This paper therefore attempts to fill this gap by using Spanish registry data to examine the number of British retirees since 2009 who have returned to the UK. In addition, the results of an electronic survey to older British people in Spain are presented which suggest that considerable numbers of British citizens aged over 55 living in the Northern Costa Blanca are likely to return in the next few years. These data therefore indicate the relevance of return migration from Spain to the UK as a significant issue to the academic community as well as to British and Spanish policy-makers.

采用文献资料法、问卷调查法、数理统计法等研究方法,对浙江省城市老年人的体育生活方式的现状进行调查,并从社会学角度分析研究其影响因素,从而为提高老年人的生活质量和健康水平,并解决日趋严峻的人口老龄化问题提供借鉴。     

论近代中国城市文化娱乐生活方式之变迁

近代以来,西方文化娱乐生活方式传入中国城市,逐渐被市民认同、接受和仿行,并顺应中国文化加以改易和创新;传统文化娱乐生活方式抑或逐渐衰微、消亡,抑或增添了新内容而发生变异。近代中国城市文化娱乐生活方式由此日益走向西化、多样化和现代化的变迁过程,并呈现出中西杂糅、新旧并举,多元复杂,不平衡及城乡相互渗透交融等特点,鲜明地折射出近代社会变迁的历程和实践轨迹。     

生活方式的变迁与道德文化的调整

社会的转型使得传统社会人们生活方式的封闭、僵化和保守逐渐向现代社会的开放、变革型的生活方式过渡。这种过渡引起了人们道德文化变革的需求。然而道德文化理念在许多方面还停留在与一元社会相契合的水平,并没有从总体上应答现代社会转型所提出的新要求。因此,人们生活方式由传统到现代的变化,必然会在一定程度上促使道德文化的调整。     

日常生活方式：娱乐艺术及其文化道

在娱乐媒体十分发达的今天,好莱坞电影娱乐艺术何以就构成了异域大众的生活方式并最终成为他们文化价值取向系统中重要的选择内容?当人们说中国的电影不在中国人的生活方式里,好莱坞的电影在全世界人的生活方式里的时候,我们怎么去面对自身的困境并有效转化它者的经验?诸如此类的问题表明,我们首先必须跳出好莱坞娱乐艺术的叙事形式辨析抑或好莱坞称霸全球的意识形态动机和文化野心批判,在生活方式、娱乐艺术和文化道路的复杂缠绕中寻找一个更为广阔的阐释背景,依托这个背景,我们也许能够对好莱坞电影的娱乐力量形成一个比较清晰的文化整体视野,并从这个视野出发全面透析好莱坞娱乐艺术的方方面面。     

Coping with Vulnerabilities in Old Age and Retirement: Cross-border Mobility,Family Relations and Social Networks of German Retirees in Alanya

ABSTRACT

Reduced income upon retirement is a vulnerability threat, which increases dependency on public provisions, familial, and/or social (community) support. Many German retirees, in addition to lifestyle motivations, move to low-cost destinations in order to maintain an autonomous and independent life while minimizing the risks of financial worsening. In this article, I discuss the vulnerability patterns of German retirees in the Mediterranean coastal town of Alanya, Turkey, and the role of social networks, with a particular focus on intergenerational family relations. I argue that, despite increased life satisfaction, relocation to a new destination abroad results in new emerging threats. German retirees in Alanya experience difficulties in terms of a lack of intergenerational family support and the double jeopardy of being framed by the legal regulations of two nation states. Based on the findings of the empirical research conducted in Alanya in 2017, I will demonstrate new threats emerged after relocation and how retirees respond to those with new coping strategies.     

Veganism as a lifestyle movement

In the last few years, the popularity of veganism has surged. Current literature on the cultural practice, which situates it within a social movements framework, cannot adequately explain this meteoric rise. A better approach is to view veganism as an emerging lifestyle movement based on individual consumption rather than political protest. After situating veganism within the literature on animal rights, this review then explains why a lifestyle movement perspective yields a more compelling account of its growing mainstream appeal. Drawing on both cultural and organizational sociology, this review provides insights into the cultural origins of veganism, its evolving relationship to other food movements, and highlights the key role played by cultural entrepreneurs, the key changemakers who are bringing veganism from the margins to the mainstream.     

民国时期自行车与城市社会生活方式变迁研究(1927—1936)

民国时期是中国近代社会的转型时期,各种西方消费品纷纷进入中国。西方先进的新式交通工具传入中国后,不仅改变了旧式交通工具的主导地位,也带来了传统社会观念与消费风尚的悄然变化。随着城市道路与交通设施的逐渐完善,自行车作为城市交通工具开始流行,不仅使人们的出行更加快捷、舒适、方便,而且产生了一系列的社会文化效应。那些有能力消费的社会阶层,把自行车当作日常生活的重要交通工具,同时也是一种社会身份的象征。自行车也被有限地投入公用,成为邮差等部门的交通工具,提高了工作效率。自行车的进口,也促使自行车民族工业的发展,尽管产品仿制的过程在外来自行车的冲击下依然艰难。西方器物的进口,产生的文化冲击效应是非常直接的,不仅仅是外在改变了中国传统交通工具,促进新行业的兴起,而且带来深层次的变化。这种消费品的供给,满足了经济发达城市市民的生活需求,提高了生活质量,也给人们的社会生活带来影响。自行车可以视为一种物质文化符号,在传播过程中,自行车从奢侈品到逐渐融入日常百姓的社会生活之中,最后成了中国人特别喜爱的交通工具,是近代中国社会文化演变的缩影。     

农村生活形态的历史考察与展望

在对农村生活形态的概念进行界定的基础上,循着农村生活形态由传统向现代转型的历史轨迹,将农村生活形态的演变过程分为三个大的历史时期：传统社会的农村生活形态、传统社会向现代社会过渡时期的农村生活形态、现代社会的农村生活形态,并分析了不同历史时期农村生活形态的具体特征。城乡融合是社会发展的大趋势,中国特色的现代社会就是城乡统筹的社会,城乡统筹发展必然促进农村生活形态从同质性向和谐的异质性转变。
