20世纪艺术理论中的再现说

“再现说”是 20世纪中国艺术理论史中占主导地位的艺术理论,它影响了 20世纪中国艺术实践和艺术理论的整体格局,也影响了人们对艺术起源、艺术本质的看法。20世纪中国社会的动荡,使“再现说”为承载社会责任而偏离了艺术对它的要求。因此,要结合各种观点的语境分析其合理性,并结合“表现说”来分析其得失。     

论翻译再现的层次

翻译是一种双语行为。既要侧重于研究原语、解读原文文本,又要侧重于研究译语,在原文与译文文本表现法之间找到一个平衡点。表现法的目的是探讨如何将“获得的意义”落实到得体的目的语文本中。本文着重研究翻译表现法的基本原则,根据译者对意义把握和意义表达程度的深浅,翻译再现的层次可分为表层翻译、中介层翻译和深层翻译。     

墙的变异--试论当代西方建筑流派之变化

任何事物都在发展变化，建筑流派也同样变化着，本文通过对建筑外墙的表象变化的论述，引出建筑流派的变化，阐明这一变化的根源在于建筑哲学的变异，墙的变异可谓当代西方建筑流派变异的“缩影”。     

Television and Violence in the Economy of Memory

The present paper aims to consider the cultural function of television as a technology for the creation of a public memory. The television system records past images, preserves them, and broadcasts various historical programs. A viewer owns the public memory jointly, through watching/consuming programs. However, the process of production and consumption of programs is linked with the exclusion of other historical memories from the public space. After all, the creation of public memories in depth is related to social power. Through the analysis in concrete terms of a series of programs of Project X and the second episode of the Nippon Hoso Kyokai (NHK; Japan Broadcasting Corporation) series, Special Edition: Judging War, the relationship between the organization of public memories and social power is explored. Project X depicts the challenges of engineers of middle standing who initiated new industrial and technological developments in the 1960s and 1970s. Special Edition: Judging War is based on coverage of the Women's International War Crimes Tribunal on Japan's Military Sexual Slavery. This program was subjected to revision on the eve of its broadcast. What forms of expression were eliminated? These two programs should help us define more clearly what the Japanese media selects for incorporation into the public memory.

本文本文先简述了二语词汇表征和发展模式，此模式明确展示了二语词汇习得的过程和阶段。再从实验方法上对两个实验进行了比较，试图在二语词汇表征实证研究上并且在复制研究上给研究者们以启示。     

后发展地区“贫困文化”话语：在学界与公众之间

以文献分析和扎根编码的方法,分析不同主体对“贫困文化”的理解,发现：部分研究运用“贫困文化”理论以解释经济或教育欠发达地区的文化表征,使得西方话语构建的“贫困文化”在国内学界话语中发生变形。“贫困文化”逐渐被构建成贫困地区文化的集体表征,即“贫困文化”的集体表征是具有区域性的,倾向于认同经济后发展地区带有这种文化特征;公众对“贫困文化”的理解则倾向于个体表征,即“贫困文化”的个体表征主要集中在个人特征,认为“贫困文化”是个体主观意识不强或能力不足所致。同时,对“贫困文化”的认知在学界与公众之间出现趋同也说明,带有发展主义阶序关系的价值评判方式,已逐渐通过话语权力的影响,将“贫困文化”作为区域性的文化表征推向公众认知领域。这使后发展地区的人们成为“贫困文化”的指称对象,难以真正摆脱思想意识上的贫困。因此,学界话语有必要在了解不同地区文化传统的基础上,进一步厘清丰富“贫困文化”的基本内涵和表征,从而构建后发展地区经济与文化协调发展的良性关系。     

＂贫困＂的多模态表征

本文以中介话语分析、多模态社会符号学为理论框架从语言、图像两方面探讨"贫困"现象的话语表征方式。基于BNC语料库揭示"贫困"的词汇语法模式,在语篇层面以媒体对贫困弱势群体表征为例分析其语篇语法,并探讨新闻报道中与"贫困"相关的视觉语法。"贫困"不仅仅表征为穷者匮乏的物质存在,更表征所映现的符号状态和人类精神。     

Bootstrapping Periodic State-Space Models

This article is concerned with how the bootstrap can be applied to study conditional forecast error distributions and construct prediction regions for future observations in periodic time-varying state-space models. We derive, first, an algorithm for assessing the precision of quasi-maximum likelihood estimates of the parameters. As a result, the derived algorithm is exploited for numerically evaluating the conditional forecast accuracy of a periodic time series model expressed in state space form. We propose a method which requires the backward, or reverse-time, representation of the model for assessing conditional forecast errors. Finally, the small sample properties of the proposed procedures will be investigated by some simulation studies. Furthermore, we illustrate the results by applying the proposed method to a real time series.     

Beyond the heartlands: deindustrialization,naturalization and the meaning of an ‘industrial’ tradition

Deindustrialization is a complex and multifaceted series of processes and transitions, reflecting the equally complicated web of social relationships and interdependencies that constitute(d) an industrial society. Contemporary scholars have looked beyond just the economic impact of industrial loss, to the cultural, temporal and spatial legacies and impacts wrought by the mass closures of the 1980s, as well as the continuing presence of an industrial identity in struggles over representation and regeneration. However, deindustrialization has a history that precedes the volatility and culmination of that period, and has impacted upon a more geographically diverse range of former industrial locations than are commonly represented. The narratives that surround some sites are complicated by their displacement in time, place and discourse; they lack the political capital of an ‘industrial’ identity through this disassociation. In this article I aim to go beyond what we might consider the industrial ‘heartlands’ of the UK to a place that has felt the impact of deindustrialization, but which falls outside of the usual representations of the UK's industrial past. I explore how the industrial identity and memory of a place can be naturalized and selectively reworked for the needs of the hour, the very meaning of ‘industrial’ altered in the process. I argue that for sites unable to access or utilize the imagery of modern, heavy industry for community or promotional aims, deindustrialization becomes a process of rewriting an historic identity – one that sheds new light on industrial loss in diverse situations, and at an ever‐increasing distance from closure.
