再论交际法教学的适用性与迫切性

摘    要:关于哪种教学法更适合中国英语语言教学的争论一直酣战未休。 1992年与 1999年 ,大学英语教学大纲的重新修订 ,从政府行为的角度 ,试图由上到下对交际教学法的实施起导向作用。但是 ,交际法教学却始终没有得到真正意义上的贯彻和实行。许多人仍然对交际语言教学法抱有怀疑、否定甚至排斥的态度。作者从语言学理论的发展与社会经济发展的角度 ,分析了交际教学法在中国的适用性和迫切性 ,希望再次为交际语言教学法的推广和应用助一臂之力。

Abstract:There has been a continual debate over which approach is more suitable to English teaching in China. The revision of English syllabus for college English made separately in 1992 and 1999 was meant to direct towards the application of Communicative Language Teaching to the whole nation from the angle of government. However, CLT has never been thoroughly put into practice. Many take a skeptical attitude about it, some even deny or reject it. The author has made comprehensive analysis of its applicability and urgency in China, based on the development of linguistics and social economics. Hopefully, this article will give a fresh impetus to the application and spread of CLT.
