试论国外私立高等教育的发展趋势

许多国家把发展私立高等教育作为实施高等教育大众化的重要策略。在新形势下，国外私立高等教育发展呈现出新的走向:私立高等教育在本国高等教育体系中的地位日趋重要；私立高等教育国际化程度增强；私立高等教育与公立大学的界限逐渐模糊；私立高等教育更加重视质量和特色建设；政府通过立法和增加财政扶持力度促使私立高校健康发展。 

On the Developing Tendency of Foreign Private Higher Education

At present,private higher education has been taken as an important strategy for popularizing higher education in many countries.However,private higher education will emit various inclinations under new conditions: first,private higher education will play more important role in the native higher education system.Second,the degree of internationalization of private higher education is to be widely strengthened.Thirdly,the difference between public and private higher educations tends to be indistinct or even disappear.Fourthly,private universities and colleges will attach more importance to educational quality and feature than before.Finally,governments will impulse private higher education by way of laws and financial support.
