| Abstract: | As the first book of Western Economy translated into Chinese, Tactics of Enriching the Country （Fuguoce） has introduced to China those theories on the production, the distribution and the exchange of wealth of Western economics as well as main economy schools and thoughts on Adam Smith＇ s division of labor, Malthus＇ s Essay on the Principle of Population, and utopian socialism. Its translation and publication has exerted an important influence on modem China＇s society. |
