Taking Warning from the Ruling History of CPSU

In this paper, the author thinks that the collapse and disintegration of CPSU has important bearing on its governing capability. In the aspect of economy, the ruling＇s rute was not properly handled. In the field of improving the socialist democ racy and the legal system, the CPSU had bureaucratic style of work and divorced from the masses. In handling the relations between the Party and government departments, the Party shareed everything with government bodies and even acted for the government departments. In the ideological field, the Party standed still and refuseed to make progress and had the style of dogmatism. To make a serious study of the issue of CPSU＇s governing capability is vital to the China＇s socialist cause and the Party＇s remaining to be the core of leadership in the historic mission of building socialism with Chinese characteristics.
