摘    要:在对我国现行教育某些现象进行透视以后 ,分析研究了古今教育界对功利性教育的批评和评价 ,在此基础上 ,界定了功利性教育的内涵与特征 ,同时对其现实影响及弊端作出了评鉴 ,并充分肯定了教育对人的理性的培养和灵魂的塑造、通识教育与专业教育结合等主张。

Abstract:By reviewing current phenomena of Chinese education, this paper investigates and analyzes the criticisms and assessments of both ancient and modern utilitarian education made by the educational circle. Then this paper gives the definition and characteristics of utilitarian education, and makes assessment of its impact on the reality. Moreover, this paper argues for education's functions of cultivating human rationality and shaping spiritual values, and the benefits of combining all-around education with specialized education.
