| Abstract: | Lord Jim by Joseph Conrad is an invention of a white myth of the establishment of the colonial order in Asia, and an important document concerning the imperial narration of the 19th-century British novels. However, Conrad was nothing more than an imperial employee coming from the edge of Europe, so his novel is a mixture of imperial ideology propaganda and destructive deconstruction. |
