回鹘入迁河西及其影响

回鹘,是我国隋唐时期发展起来的重要民族,曾于唐初至武则天时期、五代时期两次入迁河西地区。入迁的回鹘人充分利用河西优良的自然条件和重要的战略地位,为河西地区的经济发展以及中西交流做出了突出贡献,客观上也促进了国内外各民族的交流与融合,确保了丝绸之路畅通,巩固了祖国西部边陲。

Uigur Movement into Hexi Area and Its Influence

Uigur is one of the most important ethnic groups during the Sui and Tang dynasty. It moved into Hexi area twice in Tang dynasty （from the initial stage of Tang dynasty to the period in which Wu Zetian ruled the whole empire） and the Five Dynasties period. After its movement into Hexi area Uigur made good use of natural conditions and important strategic position and contributed greatly to the economic development of Hexi and cultural exchange of Chinese and western countries. Objectively speaking, it promoted the racial integration and communication between China and other ethnic groups, securing the Silk Road and fortifving the western frotier
