| 摘 要： | 动物名称在英汉习语中占有一定的地位。受地理位置、经济生活、风俗习惯和寓言神话的影响,部分英汉习语里的动物名称存在着较大差异。本文分析这些差异形成的原因,指出解读它们对英语学习有积极意义。

| Abstract: | Animal names are often found in some English and Chinese idioms. Because of the differences in geography, economy, social customs, fables and mythology, animal names can not all get their equivalents in English and Chinese idioms. This paper analyses the causes of such a phenomenon and indicates the study's positive effects on learning English. |
