从互文性角度谈美剧字幕翻译

美剧作为一种日益流行的大众文化形式,在互联网上进行跨国传播,促进了中西方文化的交流。无论是宏观层面的主题立意,还是微观层面的细节对白,美剧都与互文性息息相关。美剧字幕翻译既要考虑到屏幕的限制,保持与剧集画面的默契,又要适当传达隐藏在语言背后的互文指涉,以增加中国观众的跨文化知识。

Translating Subtitles of American TV Serials from an Intertextual Perspective

As an increasingly popular form of mass culture,American TV serials have been spreading rapidly from the U.S. to China via the Internet,which have promoted intercultural communication between the West and the East by all means. When it comes to translating subtitles of American TV serials,all kinds of limitations resulting from the art form itself have to be taken into account. Besides,the translator has to convey the intertextual references,which are between the lines in the original so as to broaden Chinese audience's view.
