论《礼运》与《中庸》在治政之道上的分野

德化与礼治通常是作为与“法治”、“刑治”相对举的概念在同一层域或相近意义上被论述的,然而,《礼运》所倡导的“以礼治人”与《中庸》所崇尚的“以德化民”却有着很大的悬隔。本文试从《礼运》之“礼治”与《中庸》之“德化”在哲学根据、现实根源与实践基点上的明显分别来管窥二者的差异,并力图通过更深层的抉发来揭示《礼运》与《中庸》在治政之道上的分野。

On the Differences in State Administration Between Li Yun and Zhong Yong

The concepts “influence with moral integrity” and “govern with ceremony” are commonly discussed as similar categories against the concepts “rule by law” and “rule by punishment”. However, the idea of administering people with ceremony, which is proposed in Li Yun, is quite different from the concept of influencing people with moral integrity, an idea advocated in Zhong Yong. This article tries to probe into their differences with regard to their deviations in philosophical grounds, practical sources and basic points. It also tries to reveal the differences in state administration between Li Yun and Zhong Yong with deeper analysis.
