| 摘 要： | 在《呼啸山庄》整个故事情节发展过程中,有两个地位独特的女主人公,即凯瑟琳和凯西。由于她们在两个完全不同的环境中长大,于是形成了完全不同的人生观和价值观。两者间因此而产生了深刻的对抗,即原始与文明的对抗。

| Abstract: | In Wuthering Heights, there are two heroines playing important roles throughout the plot development, i. e.Catherine Enshaw and Catherine Linton. To be more specific, they're Mother and daughter. As they are brought up in totallydifferent environments (primitive Wuthering Heights and civilized Thrushcross Grange respectively), each forms their own atti-tudes towards the world and the scales of value, so there is a profound confrontation between them, in other words, the con-frontation between primitivity and civilization. |
