论古代官名与称谓语的关系

官名不仅是职务的指代,也是称谓的一种。古代官名用于称谓的现象很多、特别是唐宋以来。不过利用官名称呼的不一定就是担任官职的,这就是常说的僭称。古代官名与称谓语之间有着密切的联系,它们之间相互影响,相互渗透。这主要表现在:一方面,古代官名有的演变为一般的称谓;另一方面,有的一般称谓语在一定的场合则又反过来成为宫廷和官员之间的特定称呼。

On the Relation between the Ancient official Titles and the Appellation Terms

The official title not only refers to the official duties but also is a kind of appellation.The ancient official title is often used as an appellation term,especially since Tang and Song Dynasties.However,not every official title indicates a certain official position,which is what often called "overstep-appellation term".There is a close link between ancient official titles and the appellation terms,both of which interact and influence each other.As time goes on,some official titles evolve into ordinary appellation terms,and some turn into special appellation terms in the imperial palace or between the officers.
