Teaching Quality is the Lifeline for the Development of Private Colleges

In-school education and teaching quality are, in the final analysis, aimed at cultivating high-quality talents. As the first private college in Jiangsu province ratified by the State Commission of Education, San Jiang College in Nanjing was set up in 1992. To ensure the cultivation of high-quality talents, it started with selective engagement of worthy teachers, built up a contingent of tutors for classes, strengthened foreign language and computer teaching, and implemented competitive system of \!eliminating one out of ten" among the students', in order to develop the student's competitive consciousness and temper them in an all-round way.
