美国的统一州法运动

为适应州际贸易及人员流动增加的需要和抵制联邦权力的扩张,从19世纪后期开始,美国各州进行了统一州法的尝试。由于各州之间存在政治文化上的差异和经济上的竞争,再加上联邦体制的制约,统一州法的目标并不容易达到。到目前为止,真正得到统一的法律屈指可数,州际法律冲突仍然存在。

Unification of the State Law Movement in the United States

From the late nineteenth century on, all the states in the United States have made attempts to unify their State laws to meet the needs brought about by the growth of icross-state commercial travels, and to prevent the expansion of the powers of the federal government. However, due to the political culture variations and economic competitions among the States and the restrictions of federal system, it is rather difficult to achieve the goal. Up until now, only a few laws have been unified, and cross-state conflicts of laws still exist.
