以“军事优先、普世民主、单极霸权”为基本内核的新保守主义在美国布什外交政策中发挥着谋篇布局的重要作用。以这一理念为基础,美国发动了伊拉克战争。然而,伊拉克战后安全形势表明,新保守主义并没有达到其预期之构想。在当前全球化进程迅速发展和国家间经济合作与依赖程度不断加深的背景下,美国新保守主义片面强调意识形态和战略优势,推行以军事力量为后盾的进攻性外交政策具有很大的局限性,无法为美国在全球化的国际环境下提供全面可靠的理论指南。

Limitations of Neo-Conservatism in Terms of the Security Situation in Iraq

The core of Neo-Conservatism is military priority,world-wide democracy and uni-polar hegemony.It plays a very important role in Bush's diplomatic policies.Based upon this theory,the U.S.launched the Iraq War,but the security situation after the war proves that Neo-Conservatism is not successful.Against the background of the rapid devolopment globalization and the deepening of economic cooperation and interdependence between countries,Neo-Conservatism shows it has great limitations.It cannot provide the U.S.overall and reliable theoretical guide.
