| 摘 要： | 宛西自治是20世纪三四十年代在宛西的镇平、内乡、淅川、邓县四县，由宛西自治派主要代表人物彭禹廷、别廷芳等人发起的一场乡村自治运动。对宛西自治的历史地位，史学界有各种不同的看法。文章拟从理论层面对其进行探析，从而达到更深刻地了解那段历史，更客观地理解宛西自治。
