略论党外代表人物队伍建设

党外代表人物指中国共产党以外有水平和贡献的人物,是执政党永远依靠和团结的统战对象。没有执政党社会主义民主的发扬,就不可能真正建立党外代表人物队伍。历史经验和教训及现代化建设决定了执政党必须重视和加强党外代表人物队伍建设。在新世纪,我们应以党的“五号文件”为指导,加强党外代表人物队伍的思想理论建设和体制建设,努力提高队伍的整体素质,努力营造良好的统战环境,发展中和统战文化,使党外代表人物在民主政治改革中发挥推进作用。
