奈保尔对后殖民文化身份的解析——以《比斯瓦斯先生的房子》中的无根边缘人为视角

Naipaul's Interpretation of Postcolonial Cultural Identity——From the Perspective of the "Rootless","Marginalized" Person in "A House for Mr. Biswas"

Multiple cultures,hybridity of identities and a rootless existence cause V. S. Naipaul to criticize relentlessly the culture and history of the colonized and at the same time prevent him from identifying with the metropolitan culture. His cultural identity crisis drives him to create many rootless and marginalized characters in his novels,of whom Mr. Biswas in ＂A House for Mr. Biswas＂ is a typical one. The search of a ＂rootless person＂ for a house is actually the constant,consistent pursuit and consideration of cultural attribution.
