| 摘 要： | 为了推动历史、创造历史而研究历史,为了认识今天而去了解昨天,是华岗史学思想的一个特点,也是一个值得称道的优点。"求真"才能"致用",华岗十分重视发扬中国历史学的"求真"传统,不仅强调要重视对历史资料的分析鉴别,更着重强调辩证唯物主义和历史唯物主义的指导。华岗十分重视学术创新,同时强调对历史遗产要采取分析的态度。

Gaining a Better Understanding of the Chinaspecific Situation:A Dialectical Historical Perspective--Reflections on the Study of Hua Gang's Thoughts of History |

| Abstract: | We study history in order to learn from and create history; we study what happened in the past in order to have a better understanding of what is happening today. This is one of the commendable characteristics of Hua Gang's thoughts concerning history. By placing emphasis on the traditional view of "Seeking truth" preceding "application" in the study of history, Hua Gang stresses not only the critical analysis of historical evidence and materials, but the guidance of dialectical materialism and historical materialism. Meanwhile, Hua Gang insists that creativity is of supreme importance in the study of history, and that we should take a critical attitude towards our historical legacy. |
