| Abstract: | This paper, based on the objective demands of the target model of market economy in China, analyzes the incongruity between the existing statistics and market economy and the demands of Chinese system of national economy accounts, aiming to further fulfil the total function of statistics. It discusses how to collect, communicate, process, and apply statistical data, exploring the effects of Chinese system of national accounts on statistics reform, and pointing out the problems which demand special attention in statistics reform. |
