陕西与东部省份经济增长的收敛性分析——基于西部大开发前后的比较

采用面板数据,对西部大开发前后陕西与东部地区经济增长的收敛性进行了实证分析。研究结论表明不论是西部大开发之前,还是之后,陕西与东部地区的经济增长并不存在绝对收敛特征。在投资率、人口增长率、人力资本和对外开放这些变量保持不变的情况下,陕西与东部各省之间存在显著的条件收敛。西部大开发实施后,陕西与东部各省的收敛速度明显高于西部大开发实施之前。另外,投资率、人力资本和对外开放对收敛性起到了显著的正向作用。

Analysis of Convergence of Economic Growth Between Shaanxi and East Region

Using panel data,this paper analyses the economic growth between Shaanxi and the east region before and after western development.The results show that no absolute convergence exists between these two regions,no matter when the western development began.When we keep the variables like investment rate,population growth,human capital and openness constant,there exists obviously conditional convergence between Shaanxi and the east region.We find that the convergence rate between these two regions after western development is higher than that before western development.Moreover,the investment rate,human capital and openness have obviously positive effect on the convergence.
