Analysis on Xiao Jiefu's Idea of Joint-point of History

The problem about the relation of tradition and modernization is one of the most important problems which influenced Chinese society of modern times deeply. Professor Xiao Jiefu put forward his idea of joint-point of history about this question after criticizing two kinds of main lopsided views. The idea of joint-point of history conquers the both lopsided views from the angle of dialectical unity of continuity and break, and provided an enlightening reference system for people to think about this problem.
