试论高校教育外事工作应对WTO的策略

中国加入WTO,为各个领域带来机遇,也使一些领域受到冲击.作为国家未来人才培养基地的高校,其外事工作要积极应对加入WTO所带来的机遇和挑战.在引入西方先进的教育方式和经验的同时,要把以弘扬中国传统文化为前提的中国特色教育经验传送至国际新文化领域,充分利用、积极引进国外的优质教育资源,培养具有国际竞争力的人才,最终实现教育国际化、产业化的目标.高校外事工作还应包括积极参与和促进国际学术交流活动,并且担负着把出国留学人员"请回来"的责任.

Approaches to Meet the Challenges of China's Entering WTO in Work of the Foreign Affairs Department in Higher Education

China's entry into WTO impacts greatly on many fields. The foreign affairs in higher education is of no exception. Playing and important part, it should actively face the challenge as well as embrace the opportunity. Among its work are the introduction of China's culture to the international world and vise versa. Besides, making the most use of the international resources and promoting international intellectual exchanges are also a part of its work. The ultimate aim is the internationalization and industrialization of the world education.
