Analysis of Direct Foreign Investment in Gansu Province

By analyzing the sources,modes,industrial structure and scale of direct foreign invest in Gansu,the article shows that,since the implementation of the Development of West Regions,the extent of foreign investment is decreasing in terms of absolute and relative quantity.The article summarizes the following six causes: minor gross economic production,low level of opening,low degree of marketization,inefficiency of technological progress and innovation capability,underdeveloped urbanization and less direct foreign investment.
