儒家孝道非隆丧厚葬之源考

摘    要:隆丧厚葬在中国丧葬史上占据主流,其原因一般认为主要是儒家孝道影响的结果。其实丧葬是社会的一面镜子,它是当时社会风俗奢靡化的反应,并非源自于儒家丧葬孝道伦理。真正的儒家并不提倡厚葬,儒家礼仪反而是历代限制厚葬的主要手段,但由于整个社会的奢侈化,收效甚微。因此,要寻找隆丧厚葬的原因,必须从社会风俗的奢靡化入手,并结合当朝的特性分析之。当然,从社会风俗的整体性观察,它也反映了礼与俗的矛盾运动。

Traced Back to the Lavish Funeral in Confucian Filial Piety

Abstract:The lavish burial prevails in Chinese funeral history. The main reason is generally believed to be a result of the Confucian filial piety. In fact, the funeral is a mirror of society and the reaction of social custom luxuries. The lavish funeral is not derived from the Confucian funeral ethics. The real Confucianism does not advocate the elaborate burial. In contrast, it is the main measure of the restriction of elaborate burial. Therefore, to find the cause of the elaborate burial, we must from the luxury of social customs, and combined with the feature of times. Observed from the whole of the social customs, of course, it also reflects the "rite" and "custom" contradiction movement.
